As a couple people have already mentioned, i think a big thing you need to think about here is how the logo will scale.
I like the general look & feel of your first concept, it has more of a luxury to it than the 2nd one, looks more high-end. You may want to consider putting more focus on a refines typographical treatment and then bring in just a few of those swirly accents -- but in a more sparing way.
