    The gradient

    From most of the posts, I can see that the gradient is disliked. Why don't you try making the gradient a bit less harsh by using a curve.

    Eg, apply a layer on top the same but slightly faded and then cut out a smooth curve using an oval and then u have a nice gradient.

    Just a thought. Like the principle though. Quite iphoney
