If there is one thing that sets Concept Feedback apart from the rest, it's quality, actionable reviews. If you're here to contribute things like "nice job bro!", "it needs some more pop" or "optimize the fireball", there are plenty of forums out there that would love to hear from you. And keep in mind - quality feedback will increase your rank and reputation and give you a better chance to win credits. Here are a few pointers:

  • Brush up on design and usability principles - If you're new to the game, or it's been a while, take some time to review the overarching principles of design and usability. For a quick overview and some links to more resources, read Guidelines for Giving Website Feedback.
  • Think before you type - Check your gut reaction. Take some time to examine the concept and review the objective, target market and details provided.
  • Justify your critiques - Do your best to provide a reason for the suggestions you offer. If it's grounded in design principles, let them know which ones. If it's just an opinion, that's okay too, but make sure you say so.
  • Organize your thoughts - Clear and concise reviews make everyone happy! Use lists, bullet points, headings, images and anything else you can think of to make your feedback easy to read and understand.
  • Emulate the best - Study reviews from our top members to see what they're doing well. You can also look for awarded reviews on premium concepts.
  • You don't need to be an expert - Seriously! As long as you've spent a healthy amount of time on the internet, you're qualified to express your opinion and offer helpful suggestions. In some cases, it might just a be a typo or a confusing layout. In the end, it's the collective wisdom of the crowd offers a more complete picture than the individual could have generated on his or her own.
