    You are fast!

Good job. Much better now. What I would do is to make it more 3d using light gradients and stuff like that. Not to be more web 2.0 but to reflect the 3d world of landscaping. And still, I would use some round forms to tie the design with the design of the logo (logo is the king).

Thanks for the feedback. Hmm... logo is king. I'll keep that in mind. Now, where to throw in some curvasiousness. (yes, you can use that word)

No I can't, that's too complicated word for me ;-) That is a good question, maybe one corner of the tab should be rounder, or the shape of the photos ...or the shape under the Request-box? Or maybe you should curve the blue line under the logo? (I really can´t say without my Photoshop). Maybe someone else has ideas?

just doesn't feel wright, ...the white color doesn't really look like paper ....submit button is all caps I would change that.

also the folding is a cheap yahoo imitation could use some more work

    A little too much text...

Posted on Oct 02, 2009 at 5:49 PM

I feel there's a little too much text for a homepage. It feels more more an inner page treatment rather than an engaging homepage. Users are probably going to loose interest before reading the full block.

Perhaps try reducing the quantity of text, break it up a little by either adding more succinct bullet points, pull quotes or varied weights to help draw attention to the key points.

I also feel small businesses like this always benefit from adding simple case studies which users can relate to followed by client testimonials for some valued credibility.

    Y in leaf

Posted on Oct 02, 2009 at 6:21 PM

hey this is a vast improvement from last one, increase the size of the stem just a little...

The form needs work, I would suggest that you make the white box look similiar to that of an actual quote sheet. You need to work on the form's layout, it's a little bland...

I would look at the photos being more of a slider gallery, it will look a bit more professional, and less old school...

I love the leaf type background, maybe use a slightly darker colour for the outline cyan doesn't really work with olivy green...

you are getting there, a few more tweaks and I think you'll nail it!

    The contact form

Posted on Oct 02, 2009 at 6:48 PM

    Hi,

I like the header, the colors perfect for the subject. I'll put the same margin for right side, and align the top of the form box with the title. Maybe I'll add a contextual menu under the form box to avoid the empty space. It's nice!

    Bye

    logo's green

Posted on Oct 03, 2009 at 4:23 AM

this is a clean design .. but I don;t see you using the green from the logo anywhere in your design .

maybe you should do something green, to match that . have a nice day :)

    MUCH BETTER!

Posted on Oct 03, 2009 at 10:34 AM

Well done, this looks 200% better. I would maybe develop the right column a bit more with maybe a testimonial or something. But this looks great, good job!

To me its still feels kinda text heavy, maybe larger images? Good work though, fast turnaround!

    the main navigation

i feel like the main navigation is not prominent enough. The FREE quote box is competing with that.

    phone #

Posted on Oct 05, 2009 at 9:37 AM

I agree that this version looks much better. Good job.

You might consider moving the phone number and/or email address to the header, above the navigation. That way, it'd be more prominent, plus it'd be on every page (assuming you use the header consistently throughout the site).

The request form.... making it look like an actual piece of paper is a nice effect, but not a necessity. Especially if you take the advice to make it run the length of the page and add customer testimonials. The rest of the site and logo are clean designs, so keeping the white sidebar nice and clean would look fine.

I might see how it looks to break the headline under the photos up like this: Contant us today for a free quote on your ba...... Breaking it up like that would allow you to make it bigger.
