work more in the design.
This is great.
Did you design template in PHP?
. I would move the newsletter form on the left column making it a bit more visible . since he has some social accounts you can make a twitter one for the gigs or quick news and integrate it on the left . so you can do it with Flickr or YouTube and the photos/videos, upload only once and get them with api Integrating the social services let you get rid of some logos on the right
As per title - I would reduce it a bit more by maybe adding in some additional elements but other than that is pretty cool :)
I really like this design and I think it is well suited to it's purpose. My only complaint is that the nav menu is a very large chunk of that pea-green and it isn't broken up by anything. I would recommend maybe adding a sort of watermark picture like the one you used of Robert's bust in the bottom-left corner. Perhaps do the same thing with his crow/raven logo, or even the grass/cat-tail background image.
The site design looks great. The only thing I might have done differently is the background. Not sure it goes with the rest of the site. Still a top notch job!
I liked the design layout and the top positioned audio player
