Consists of a single page and its contents will be empty. Should be more comprehensive.

    Image Borders on Home Page

Posted on Sep 04, 2009 at 9:45 AM

As Alan said, an overall good layout and presentation.

Just a small detail: I'd standardize the padding and borders around the images on the homepage. The fine grey border used on the T-Shirt page looks better for its subtlety.

    Nothing bad to say really...

Over all I like the concept. Very clean and simple. I'm finding that there seems to be a real trend for over-doing it when it comes to web design lately. I mean I get it "your talented and can create amazing photoshop layouts, but come on when did form overtake function?"

The site is very nice, I have to agree with Alan on this one though....it doesn't scream - Hey stick around" it needs something more to temp me to want to delve deeper into the site...maybe adding something around the borders of the photos - like a badge or two or maybe a corner text area.

    Maybe jazz up the navigation

I think your design is straight forward and very organized. The user experience will definitely be easy. I guess my only suggestion would maybe be to add some more prominence to the navigation... to draw the eye to it since you have those big buttons. Love the logo!

    Starts well

I really like this design... but if I had to be picky I could be.

I think the top left with the dark bar, the grey & logo look excellent.. then my eye becomes a bit bored after that.

Prehaps choosing another typeface for headlines? Prehaps the borders on the images are too heavy? Prehaps the button could be a bit more of a feature with a few angles or something to create interest?

I also think a tab style navigation would look nice.

Hope some of those suggestions help. Good luck

    Nothing wrong

Posted on Sep 04, 2009 at 3:39 AM

I honestly can't find anything wrong with the site, my only gripe would be that sit doesn't scream out to me to read more, not sure why.

The shop page is certainly more appealing on the eye, and is alot more attention grabbing.

Maybe its the use of the balloons image on the bottom that im not feeling, but i know they are just image holders just now.
