    nothing in mind

Posted on Aug 28, 2009 at 8:32 AM

I love them all. smooth and nice colors! Depends what kind of software it is to make the right choice. 3 & 4 are more "funky" for me and 1-2 looks more classy. I think I would go for 2.

    good luck!

    Option 4

Posted on Aug 28, 2009 at 8:32 AM

Option 4 is the best by far. It's the most professional looking.

Followed by option 1. Option 1 is better if you prefer the simple look. It even scales the best.

    Need to be more obvious.

Posted on Aug 28, 2009 at 8:33 AM

Many problems. You're using elements that don't fit the message (i.e. spotlight, folder icons). When you do use relevant elements, you have them obscured so it isn't as obvious (i.e. the first design - one may have trouble seeing that it's a padlock and key, and I've never seen a key with smooth edges for a padlock). Option 4 may be the best start as the design elements are in the center and easily visible. However, I don't know if the folder icon will work - folders are meant to be opened so secure storage wouldn't come across. Try researching "secure storage" online and see what you come up with. Option 2 and 3 are out - they look like something a 1st year design student might consider. So, go with 1 and 4, but get to the point, don't try to be clever, be obvious!

    4 best

Posted on Aug 28, 2009 at 9:23 AM

I like concept 4 the most. SecureIt would look better (with capital I).

The image might need improving as someone suggested, perhaps an image of a vault or a safe?

    More Contrast on number 1

Posted on Aug 28, 2009 at 10:26 AM

Number 4 colors remind me with Norton anti virus. Number 2 and 3 are not cool as number 1 and 4. Number 1 is the best but with more contrast..

    Good job

Posted on Aug 28, 2009 at 10:46 AM

    I really like option 1 and 3.

If I were the client I would choose option 1. Good styling, strong colours and works well large and small.

I'm not sure the other 3 options work well at smaller sizes.

I like the first one best. The last example looks the most official, but the first one appeals to me most. Looks great!

    I like #1 and #2.

I like the logo or graphic of #1 because of its simplicity. But the rest is dull. I like the idea of #2 but look what happen when minimized - it's almost unreadable/unrecognasible.

SO I will try something like #3, with #2 background and typography, with the simplicity of #1. :)

Use the blue from iKey on the Secureit

Posted on Aug 30, 2009 at 8:34 AM

Really nice designs. Think your best is probably 1 or 4, but 3 could be a hit if the outline was better designed, maybe we need to see the keyhole? Original idea though! Keep it up

    name

Posted on Aug 31, 2009 at 6:40 PM

I'm not really sold on any of the names ... maybe iLock? Who knows I'm not a copywriter.

As for the designs ... I love the Layout for 4, the concept/colors for #1 so maybe it's a combination of these elements.

Try taking the lock and key and giving them a 3d presence like you have in option 4 ... really web 2.0 them shiny and dimensional.

I think for a "logo" it has the most flexibility and longevity.

    Option 4

Posted on Aug 31, 2009 at 10:02 PM

I would tend to trust the look and feel of option four the most. The others perhaps feel a bit cheap, The colours on 4 are great, the logo text could use a bit of work, maybe make the "it" the same colour as the red guy with a bit of glare or gradient.

Also, centre the slogan and make its less erratic sizing, a fraction more spacing and youll be away laughing.

    Blue is a trust color

Posted on Sep 01, 2009 at 9:23 AM

I think the shade of blue is good - but I think that the overall design could be more thought out (maybe the word is less?), and much simpler. I cannot tell what any of those are as small objects.

The best would be option one for simplicity and option two for color. As a person that would use an app like this, I think I would pass over all of these at the moment.

Great work. Never thought to design splash screens.

I like the color combinations on Option 4. Soft tones give a secure feeling.

    I love option 1 and 4.

First is simple, clean, modern and look pleasant. 4 option is really and most professional look.

    I vote for 1.

Convey what is unique about this password keeper.

Posted on Sep 09, 2009 at 7:10 AM

I think your designs are clean and illustrate the product very clearly. From a personal standpoint, I prefer Option 2, because it's unique and somewhat artistic, but, I do know that this will be unrecognized by most users.

Option 4 is the most professional, but also has a little cheapness to it. Perhaps you could capitalize the i in "Secureit" and brighten the colors of "Passwords Key". Also, that text seems like incorrect grammar, but I'm not certain what the intentions were for that.

    It's moving along well!
