I think number 1 or 3 is the best design for my choice, but instead of all black and purple I would throw in some white like in number 2. I don't really like the way number 4 is being split in half black and white.

try version #1 with a white background. This will make everything more easy to read and will make the purple and black REALLY pop and get noticed!

I think designs one or two are the strongest. They both have a very night club feel to them though. If you are concerned about people knowing what the group is then i think you need to increase the the size of the text " a leading global network of young active citizens" It's to small right now

I like #3 best, but there isn't enough contrast between the black text and the purple background.

The black and purple is not easy on the eye at all and can make it harder to read which will turn people away from evening bothering to entertain it. I would really use some white on number 1 or 3. Number 2 is OK but I am not so keen on number 4.
