    the rays

Posted on Aug 25, 2009 at 11:02 AM

I think one of the problems with the rays is that they taper to a point within the canvas, esp. the left side. You could make the sunburst shape larger, and fade out the rays using a radial gradient on a layer mask (in PS, obv), and that may fix it. Maybe.

Otherwise, everything looks good- slightly cluttered, but in a content-rich way.

I really like the idea and the design on a whole but you are right about the sun rays.

Thanx everyone for your feedback. I think if I practice on the rays more I should have it down pack. I will also check out those sites/links.

    nice brand association!

Posted on Aug 26, 2009 at 3:42 AM

The brand association to twitter is very nice, using their login page for inspiration was a good idea, it instantly feel familiar as soon as you look at it.

    Nice idea, nice work.

    The footer

I like it... but the footer (blue section) looks crowded. Everything else looks amazing to me.

    The coordinates below the card

Posted on Aug 25, 2009 at 1:33 AM

Overall, it's pretty original and good looking. The coordinates at the bottom seem to be too close to the card, if you move those down a bit, it will be pretty perfect in my opinion.

take out the little pound signs before each item.

Posted on Aug 29, 2009 at 10:28 PM

I don't know if this is an exact replica of the page twitter... if it is please excuse comments...

Personally, I would Line up the line "Follow and discover with the top of the w, e, and r in twitter...that line is the strongest line for alignment. The type seems a bit big in the search box... I would take out the little pound marks before the smaller detail words. corporate and identity need a space between them, as well as, twitter and backgrounds... The P is too close to the colon looks like it's touching it (in front of the phone #).

    Other than that, awesome concept!
