    alignments and to close gaps.

    Hi Rachel,

If this were mine I would tweak:

The first paragraph so the word "weeks" was not alone. Then, since I find the paragraph under "Feedback" to be really long. I would cut that in to two separate thoughts.

I would maybe also try and align the text, under the person reading, to the left side of the picture.

Maybe, also in the main title try pushing the words " Talk about" to the left a bit and line up the strong stem of the "b" in books to the stem in T above it. I would then line up the paragraph below it to the title edge rather than the pink block edge. Having that paragraph the same distance away from the block, as the black box is from the picture of the women.

on the second presented page, after some of the commas there are big gaps of space. Maybe consider closing them so the eye is not stopped in them.

Also, maybe try making the leading between "our Customers" and "can expect" smaller.

The red, black and blue logos are mis-aligned.

One last thing to consider is to bring the words closer together in the sub-titles of " We Can Help", "Start Your Own Group", and "In Return We Ask You To".

I wonder how it would brighten up the page if you made the whole two lines pink of " This charter is our commitment to reading groups, and...Kent."

Overall, I enjoy the colors and white space.

I wasn't sure about some of these but I've tried them and it does look better. Thanks

    square bullets.

I like this one much better than the archive talks, but i guess that makes sense, because this subject is fresher and targeted to a younger audience.. maybe? i like the bold choice of hot pink. i think the dark big black square bullets could be replaced with something else.. maybe stray from generic bullets, make your own? draw something, scan it it.. and use that instead?? maybe it could be pink? or gray? or black and smaller? on the inside at the top you've got a gradient there. i think it would look better solid. gradients are less amazing these days. and they dont always print all that well. id rather see a solid pink rectangle there. good job on this one. nice photoshop selection on the boy with the hat on the inside right, its good to see that transition to white isn't all torn and icky. looks like someone took some time there. would be good to see this/these sorts of things printed out and folded and photographed, so we can see the folds working with the design.

I've changed the bullets as suggested and matched to the pink, so don't take over so much.

Yes I wasn't keen on the gradient either, it was because I did the fold effect on the other side first.

Thanks about the boy image, I did spend some time on it.

Good clean design, not cluttered with a lot of images/designs as some others are.

Yes, I wish more of our library docs could be cut down. Often our budget dictates what we can have size wise. There's only so many words you can ditch.

    I agree with...

the first comment. The bullets look kind of abnormal to the layout since you already have that working with the shapes the images/title blocks create. Very good to look at. Great design other than that!

I wasn't convinced about removing the bullets completely however I've changed the style and colour to something much less obtrusive.
