    Home page positioning

Posted on Nov 12, 2010 at 1:51 PM

I love the idea for this website! The layout looks clean and simple. The one thing that stood out to me was the position of the Hello box on the homepage. I don't think it works where it is. Its just popping above the space reserved for navigation. I think it either needs to move up more, or move flush, or move below. Right now I don't think there's enough space between the top of that box and the purple stripe to make it look intentional.

Other than that I think this is a nice site : )

Good color use hare, look like professional but change the "hello" background color, use some lite color.

    Otherwise the design is OK

Really nice and fashionable design. Maybe just a suggestion would be to add on the event details page, a share feature so people can easily share the details on their facebook, email, twitter, myspace, etc... AddThis script will do the job.

Like how the design is full page width but main content are centered. Nice job ;)

Hi. nice work.. :) Just a few suggestions: For Homepage:----
Need to work on typo. Hello! text potion is looking very chaotic. very hard to read the text. Why don't you try text on white background or a very lighter shade of the same with #402244 font color?? Again the typo you have used for "create an account"....and other headings are not looking good. Try some other font to give it nice look. Icons are good but increase the visibility of text. For wif_createprofile.jpg Page :----- Please use lighter color for links(text on dark link bar). text visibility is very poor right now! Hope this will work... Good luck :)

    use some borders

Posted on Nov 17, 2010 at 1:23 AM

Hey nice design. Very good color combination.

As everyone has said the hello box seems to be the major problem. Besides that... i'd love see a border in images of each trendsetters. Not a very dark one but something that will just give a boundary. For me a little bit darker color than one of the middle gradients would work. And also on the DISCOVER NEW STYLE and CREATE AN ACCOUNT section. As you can see that the gradient just in the lower section (i think you are trying to merge the lower portion of that box and background) just does not merge each other. So try using a border in those boxes as well. Also the color of twitter and fb icon if they were a little bit more to the background color then it would work for me.

I like the how does this all work section.

    Good design.

    Best of luck.

    "Hello,..."

Posted on Nov 26, 2010 at 2:12 PM

Hi there. It looks nice and clean. I like colors and layout. Not sure about: 1. "Hello,..." box, would change background color, but I think you wanted to have darker on the top and lighter on the bottom. So would just change color of text in the "hello,..." 2. in "still have question?" would add NAME box. Good luck! :)
