shadows and lighting look good, i like the logo too. simple to read and clearly laid out.
Maybe a bit more red on the page to enhance the colouring in the logo.
I wouldn't change a think, it looks very good the way it is now.
Great work!
Oops, i pressed the wrong star, it was suposed to be 4.
Sorry for that :p
Nice and clean. Successfully mirrors the objective of "quality design". However, if you are truly seeking "extraordinary" the visual content might be contradictory and too conservative. Constructively speaking, the ribbon reflects a dictionary or hymnal and the wood a library or church pew. Still cool but I think you have room to raise the bar to achieve your objective of extraordinary. I.e.: insert a memorable constrasting image and drive a big fat rusty bent nail into that pretty wood. :-)
Strong brand name / marque, I like the flame and ribbon, but they don't seem to share an idea. Do you need both, wouldn't it be better to make more of the flame?
Gets a bit busy with the multiple use of typefaces, but not sure I am looking at it right, as this is my first post. Not sure of the value of the wood top.
I'm not sure the designer has provided a reason, but for me, it does act as a visual guide to move my eye down the page.
Hi Andreas,
I hope you're well.
The site is well done. I like it's clear and concise layout.
One suggestion would be to include your contact details directly on the main page. If not your entire contact number and address, I would at least put a phone number on there.
Kind regards,
Matt
I love the design, very nice color scheme and just enough spacing between elements. Beautiful work!
Andreas: Someone else mentioned their dislike of the footer, and I would tend to agree. What if, instead of wood, you used a pavement/concrete/grungy surface? My reasoning is that it would add some contrast to the clean style of the rest of the page. Of course, that contrast might not be so good, but you should consider giving it a try.
Let me say this though ... overall, this design is wonderful. I am very impressed.
the colors green and red make me think of christmas, and the red ribbon makes me think of a present. so just wanted to let you know its very festive for me. i would suggest making the green text and bullets red, black, or maybe even a dark blue. i really love the neutral beige, and the lightness behind the light bulb. i also agree that a different texture at the footer would be helpful to the overall success of the design.
Very nice Design, really like your use of shadow and light.
Every pixel has been thought out. Very well done. I love the effect of the bookmark under the descriptions.
Nice work!
this design is awesome. The design catches your attention immediately. (the shadows mainly.) Nice work..keep it up! The only thing is that the footer is sort of, I don't know, out of place...I don't know why...it just seems like it shouldn't be there. Maybe if you put some wood showing above the header it would balance it out.
It looks great when you get the whole picture, nice typography and colors, but if you look into the user friendly part of it, i think you might have a problem with low resolution users who won't be able to see your content without scrolling.
But then again who wants to design for 1024x768? :)
I dont really get the red stripe, it looks good but why is this site designed like this? Does it communicate right to the audience?
It feels like a book, but you seem to do alot of webdesign?
Very clean and great attention to detail. maybe add in some client quotes and links to case studies.. I think they help further sell your services. Good work
I don´t think you need to change something, the design have a great color balance.
Nice job
Colors are great, love the shadows too. the design seems to be detailed and well done, i realy like the tangible feeling in your design.
Everything looks amazing... love the idea of the ribbon. But I think you should change the footer. Why not try something different like for example... leather?
Nice ... you use the front page to show your work... that cool. Visitors will be engaged right away.
Keep up the good work, Pedro.s
Your design it's very cool. Well, I think about your design is very simple and easy.
I like the design, is simple, clear, easy to read.
Good visual support and structure. But the amount of different font types is a little confusing (the italics for the subtitle and the handwriting for the tags - ie. webdesign, printdesign, your corporate, and the one for the body copies,..)
Really nice design with lots of possibilities! But, I don't quite like the footer. The whole design is very well crafted with a special care to details. When I see the footer, the hi-quality professional look of the website gets it's image a bit scratched.
Great job!
Hey Andreas!
Very nice concept you have there :). A fav from me. I love the care with you designed the whole thing, I would like to have the online website to feedback would me more conclusive.
Here's what I think:
The fonts are not consistent. Don't understand me wrong, the main font you're using (looks very similar to Register Serif) is beautiful, but your logo uses a sans serif font maybe you could stick to that for the site and use serif fonts for special highlights.
I also don't get the font used to write "web design" and "print design" on the pictures. It's way to different than the other fonts.
I also don't get the blue you're using for "print design" background. It's not used anywhere else in the site. Now I'm reading the reviews it seems that also other reviewers felt this is a problem.
From what I'm guessing this is the About page or the home page ? :) Either ways the content is not suited for any of them. I'm guessing it's still a draft.
If this is supposed to be a notebook, I would make the right side look like the binding of a notebook.
I would also take the logo out of the footer and / or make the bottom menu more visible. Maybe alter the vertical spacing? Dunno.
Overall it's a really nice piece of work you've done here.
That's it. Z.
Love it. Very clean, attractive and engaging. Seems to work very well (although i don't read or speak Deutch, so that's a drawback).
Can I ask why German and English are mixed in the copy?
So, there are no other words for webdesign or printdesign in german :D. The Germans think they must copy the English language because it's cooler or so, so many words from the English are used here. Thats called "Denglish".
looks great! beautiful design! nice attention to detail.
