    Logo and style mismatch

Posted on Oct 22, 2010 at 4:40 AM

    I like the green one.

Its a very effective and simple page.

However, the logo does not match the look and feel you've went for - the two seem to be diametrically opposed. Infact dropping the logo in the top left hand side almost seems like an afterthought.

The Submit your Resume certainly pops! perhaps a little too much, maybe going with something a little more in line with the rest of the design.

The upload button should be a button and not the image of a floppy (come on how many students have even seen a floppy disk!)

Hi, Joseph The Logo you are talking about i cant change it . Its brand Logo Made many years back. & second thing you are talking about submit button not matching a design .. ya true i want like this only it should be highlited out of the design coz their main target is to attract students to submit their resumes.
Upload button should be changed now we have seen same button for so long as the trend changed now we have to make few changes apart from the old design to make it new creative.

      thanks

Hello I like this layout mainly for the colors you used. Are the same also for me. It 's all well balanced and I think it is a good job. Congratulations. (Google translation .. sorry)

    Another draft

Posted on Oct 24, 2010 at 12:55 AM

    Kunal

On balance, I like the olive green version, but with several reservations.

I find the top half (headline and map graphic) appealing, but then the bottom half starts to fall apart a little. The dotted line cutout (is this a screwed up piece of paper?) is messy. The benefits section doesn't look connected to anything and the seat is completely out of place.

The resume upload section is clear and effective and I also like the black city skyline graphic.

Your second layout has good points as well. The neutral background is less striking, but clearly supports better legibility. The signpost is good – a better choice than the seat. I like the way the skyline separates the footer, but the messy section at bottom left spoils it.

The clocks/time reference is a weak idea.

If it were possible to combine all your best ideas into one new draft, I think you'd have a much clearer and more focused concept to work with.

    Hope this helps.

Very...very...very..cool! I really wanted to add a comment to this design but there is simply nothing that could be improved. Great job!
