    remove the word products

Posted on Oct 17, 2010 at 12:31 PM

    hi,

If I was to choose one that I would use for my company I would go with the 1st concept, but remove the word Products if possible.

I think it makes the logo busy and unfinished as it's not really sitting in the structure of logo. You could possibly try to increase the text spacing so the word products fits within the same width of the word Fish above it?

I agree with you the word products doesn't sit very well. Thank you.

    Gradients

Lose the gradients. They don't help at all.

Concept 1: It also looks like the type is in between roman and italic. Looking at the shape of the icon, Roman would be best.

    Other Concepts: No

Much better. The K is interesting, but I'm wondering if maybe that white pubble can somehow be used to make it read easier?

Thanks again. Please clarify further, do you mean getting rid of it or placing it somewhere else? I put it so it complements with the green dot.

I was just wondering if it is possible to place the white dot in such a way that it makes the "K" easier to read, slightly breaking it away from the blue block.

It may or may not work.

theres a lot going on in these logos, maybe too much in the ones where you are trying to incorporate the words to the design, out of them all i like concept 5

Out of the 5, I'd definitely say go for number 5.

Being a horizontal logo, it should work well both on a website and across other print media.

Like others, I'm not too keen on it saying products underneath, I think it spoils the flow and I find myself automatically looking at that. Perhaps it is because the spacing is bigger making it slightly easier to read?

That's my two cents anyway, for what it's worth..
