The bottom right one catches my eye the most, i really like the balance. And contrast.
Paul: I understand your angst over long names (see my logo design for Enduring Conservation Outcomes). But if the name is "The Prairie Grass Festival of Faith and Film," you need to work your design around that name. Let the client decide the name is too long and that it's OK to change the name.
Otherwise, I think some mark that says "film" or "cinema" needs to be a little more evident. I think you have a good start on the mark by incorporating the strands of prairie grass, but keep going with that idea. Don't stop now.
And keep us posted as you tweak your design.
i agree no tag lines, and for me the bottom right is the clear choice EASILY. the balance is nice and the text all fits together - easy to apply to other treatments
Agree with other reviews, bottom right all the way
bottom right would be my choice
Hi! I'm torn between the bottom right corner one and the one above it. If you used the bottom right I was thinking maybe if that ampersand was bigger it would be a bit fun to fill in that gap going on between prairie and grass or to make it smaller and close up the space between the words. The bottom right gives a stepping effect that I like.
The one above it could be interesting depending how the blade of grass and the word "festival" interplay with the color of the foreground. and the words colored above. I see you have a thicker ampersand in this one and the words are aligned on both sides dealing with that gap which is not as pronounced as the bottom left one.
So...I'm very torn.
I think the blades of grass are great!
Bottom right hand corner is definitely the best.
I like the upper right concept, however I like the font style of the one directly below it.
Bottom right it is.
The mark is very nice. The one off center is elegant.
As for the type, the space between bothers me. The mark is very airy and the type doesn't reflect this. Modern, which I like, but feels messy.
