    Nothing

Apart the fact that is messing up my twitter background its a very nice design. It has everything that all the other api's had.

It was about time to leave that narrow layout and expand.

I have been on it for quite a while and thank you twitter for choosing me.

    Backgrounds

Posted on Sep 30, 2010 at 7:32 AM

I generally like the new Twitter, although I (like many) dont use the website that often; I use Tweet Deck.

What I was hoping for was more control over the customisation of your profile/page. Its certainly lacking in that department, but that might be because I'm a web designer.

Design is much neater. Functionality much improved. Wider page width is welcomed.

I think it was about time!

Posted on Oct 01, 2010 at 4:17 PM

I really like that Twitter decide to share us the new design! The should done this longer ago, because I personally got bored of their limited interface...now we have more liberty and space!

So this a good upgrade the big space and rich media and hope they can keep on surprising us!

So I think is a 5 star for Twitter and I keep doing the good stuff and help us all!

    Empty Space

Posted on Oct 07, 2010 at 2:27 PM

I've been using the new twitter for a while now and I have to say, huge improvement! I love how you can load a person's recent tweets in the same page rather than having to go to a new page, and then go back etc. Gets repetive with twitter!

I love that you've kept the simplicity and the important headers.

Only thing I would have a second thought about, is that sometimes there can be a lot of empty space on the right sidebar which I think could be used more. (See notes)

Overall, I love the new design and I think it's a huge improvement! Great work.

    Notes Added to Images   View

    • Twitter Home
      • 1Empty Space

There is a lot of empty space here, especially shown if you continue scrolling without clicking on someones name. Could be replaced with a background image? Or maybe expand the following, followers and who to follow lists?

Though i do have to say that i love the changes, finally some rich media on twitter. They sure took their time though, kinda late. But then again, better late than never right. I haven't tried it out myself yet but it sure looks promising.

    I like it

Posted on Oct 07, 2010 at 5:29 PM

I don't have much to say negative about it. After using it for a couple of days, I really enjoyed the new user experience. In my opinion, the redesign is a success. I even have started to log on the web more than using the app for my phone.

    Draft

Posted on Oct 08, 2010 at 1:40 AM

While the design and originality are pretty basic, ultimately the redesign does offer a better user experience so for me this is a good step forward as the main aim with this micro blogging tool is to ensure the user can easily find and navigate around the platform, especially considering the amount of followers/following/posts there can be in each account.

    Neat

Posted on Oct 09, 2010 at 5:57 PM

Its neat and clutter free, it allows the user to navigate with ease and has some neat javascript animations. One thing I could recommend is that when you click on a video from youtube or a kiva link it should ask you if you want to open it in a new window or in side bar. (Makes like easer.)
