I love the first logo with the children! Conveys the purpose extremely well.
I have 2 girls, 10 and 13 years old. They would think they are too cool for this service because the children in the logo look like they are very young - like 6-8 years old.
It's appealing to me as a parent, but again, it would seem inappropriate because it's much too young for them.
Can you add a young teenager?
Best of luck!
Michelle
The kids appear to be in the target age range now.
I think it's getting a bit busy now. This image has a few simpler silhouettes that might work: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-illustration-2137266-back-to-school.php

I think #1 is the strongest, the others are too detailed, won't look great as a small logo on web or print. The silhouette of merlin is enough, and strong too. It goes well with the circle and stars.
I would work on your font choice and placement some more, I'm not fond of any of the 3 font samples.
This is very helpful. Do you have a suggestion on fonts? Thank you.
I put one out with older kids...can you give me your opinion on it please? Thank you.
Hi Renaye
My choice is No. 4, with provisos.
I like the typography – the single line is very "storybook" in style and will suit the age group. Purchasers (parents) will feel the conservative nature of the logotype as a positive. However, the wizard is a problem for me. He's waaay too detailed and will be completely lost at smaller sizes, even as a silhouette.
I understand that it's important to get Wyatt into the mix, but I don't think you need be quite so literal. It should be enough to simply hint at his presence.
I suggest using only his hat, plus your "arc of stardust" idea from No.1 instead. The blue pointed hat with an arc of golden stars would be more distinct, easily understood and better for reproduction.
Nos. 1 & 2 are too literal and clumsy; No.3 has issues with the type and circle enclosing Wyatt.
Hope this helps.
.. the imagery in 2 works well as the stars were making it a little to busy.
Perhaps try a sans serif font to make the overall look slightly more modern. I would also consider losing the gradient, but thats just my taste really. It does work as it is.
The first logo is more striking than the others. However, I like the way you setup the font in the second logo. Maybe you can use the graphic in the first logo and then set 'adventures' below it, and then 'in wisdom' below that. Other than, great logo with great color!
Thank you for your feedback. I put a new one out there with older kids. Can you tell me what you think about it?
