Website Design

overall, it looks good, however:

i think there are too many design elements floating on top (too many cloth pieces), and they are way too prominent, your company logo and as well as the navigation items are not getting any attention because of that.

the three square pieces of cloths look like a placeholder for something - you can reduce the size for these.

i see you have a thread like line dividing two columns, make it more like a thread and let it end just before the footer. also, make it looks like it is coming from one of your cloth pieces from top (let it come out from big brown piece)

since you have a lot or boxes here in irregular shapes- the process image looks too flat. may be u need to do the some border treatment there..

This is an interesting site. I like the colors and the feel of the site but it leaves me confused.

First, I don't know where to go. There is too much going on with the fabric swatches and the patten up top. The sizors look like and arrow so I thougth I was supposed to be looking at the pattern.

Also, white text on a dark background is very hard to read. It gets lost on the page.

I can't see it from here, but do you have a call to action? What do you want me to do when I get to the site?

You may want to show some product shots of garments made from your fabric. Get me pulled into what I am going to look like/feel like when I go with you!

Also, make sure you differentiate your business on the front page. Why should I pick you over other providers?

Its alright, but...

graphics there are definitely too many things going on in this page. The design elements look to kitschy... I would suggest removing most of them, and focusing your graphic space on actual product images. Focus on the items you want members to buy. Big, clean, impressive product images.

text There is a lot of psychology behind getting people to read. People skip over big blocks of text. People don't like long columns of text. (This is why newspapers divide the paper into skinny columns) -Divide the welcome text into 2 skinny columns. -Give all headers "Welcome","process"&"latest news" the same size and weight. Also make their placement more organized. They look strewn about. -Headers should be prominent & bold -Move text hight on the page, keep secondary graphics lower and to the sides.

Hi, this looks great! I like the details and textures, something that I have to work more in my design ;) I would only change the word "welcome", maybe use image title (with some unique font and colours) if you don't need to change it often?

Overall nice feel although i think maybe a little cluttered could do with some more negative space

I think the Body copy lacks the design that the rest of the site has i would work more on getting that type just right

This is a great layout for your client. I like the originality and the way you used the clients products in the site.

This is a nice theme you picked up for your website. I like the colors and the header and footer treatment.

It's pretty solid on the bottom, but I think you can work better on the header. Also emphasize more the logo and have better contrast for top navigation.

Overall on first look I think it engages the viewer.
