I love ur design but there is some problems for me ..

I think there is so empty space in the header next to logo , and the logo in this place is not so clear ..

and the font of "welcome" need to be changed , and try to make this frame at the top exactly in the center

try to make your headings a bit bigger and try another color for it

make your text boxes in the same size "username,password and mail list subsecribtion"..

check the padding of all content and get rid of the "zigzag" thingy at the bottom of the footer menu

try to give the contact paper some more real able felling and change the texture of the very bottom background -try to make it same as the top wood under the logo at the top-

I like your design a lot. As Abdul-Hadi mentioned I agree there's something wrong with the header. I'd move the top image more to the top-right; reducing the black 'space'. Also I'd move the menu down and make it bigger. The most important thing to navigate (the menu) has the smallest font and is hard to read. Make the font bigger, more bright and there you go.

The 'Welcome' font is not bad but it's not perfect either. I think the text below the 'Welcome' could use some more padding as well.

The good thing about this design is it instantly tells what the site is about, which is a good thing. I also like your use of textures and leaves, looking very good.

I like your design, it's engaging and clearly shows the topic of birds. As others have said, the header could use some adjustment though.

The links across the top could maybe use the same light brown background as the bottom. They are currently hard to see with being so dark. Your search box could go in the line of links as well to decrease header space.

In the head section, I like the picture and welcome section, but it could be toned down. Possibly have the text across the bottom, under the bird, and decrease the size of the box.

With the header height decreased, and lower material moved up, I think it will help quite a bit. Remember that people scan, so seeing your product more easily should help with customers staying longer.

I like this site a lot - it's definately engaging and I really like the use of texture and graphical elements to enhance the look, feel and overall experience of a visit... althouhg... it is a little busy

To start off I'd say there is too much space between your photo frame at the top and the top of the page - reduce this for sure

The welcome text doesn't fit whatsoever, choose a different font and position it within that frame not hanging outside of it. Also shift your links over to the left and bang the search top right maybe.

I think, depending on how things look when the frame is shifted up - you could try moving the american bird products type logo to under the ABP logo on the top left - might give you more room to shift the frame up

To justify this... and this is my main point really... Since you have such a strongly themed site (which represents the purpose pretty well) I think you need to make sure you tie everything together and play on the natural theme. Since you have so much natural elements and textures going on - dont ruin it with fonts that as some people have said here 'fit the american theme', replace it with more natural fitting type. Just keep the theme in mind :)

Overall its a great start though Id like to see the progress!

I love the design. I dont mind the WELCOME font as its for America Bird Products. Its a very american football tshirt font. Theres lots to look at, and i also quite like the space you have left at the top, it shows texture and i dont like filling every space there is as it looks too cluttered. I think the only thing i would change is in terms of functionality, i would make the top menu more visible. But its still nice as it is. So what if you gotta look around for them for 2 more seconds. Very nice. Well done.

Its a good design.

Header looks good. But there seems some problem with top spacing of the header. There is mush space above your header .

Top navigation is not clear. User hardly find the top navigation.

Agree with what previous reviewers have said - overall very nice design with just the header needing some more attention.

Definatly change the welcome font or scale it down.

The 'American Bird Products' type looks slightly hard to read.

The ABP logo in the top left is a little lost, I didn't notice it to begin with - needs highlighting.
