Film Student Portfolio Site!

I like the "basic" use of the letters. Little bit of depth.

The only thing that seems to bother me is that the portfolio doesn't look very proffessional. But that could be the intention.

I would implement the videosection. Don't do the "javascript"-stuff with video. It's kind of messy.

Overall a nice design.

But, even on my quite huge display with a rather hi resolution the whole site looks TOO BIG. I believe that there have to be a balance between the content and the design. You have original concept but you're lacking of practical approach to user experience.

Try to make this site a bit more compact and swift. I also believe that JavaScript doesn't work for you. Try to embed videos on-site, adding some thin and light border (maybe hand-drawn?).

It's nice, simple and fun. But I feel there needs to be a black background or a dark blue background to add some impact to the text. This background change will also add proffesionalism to the concept - but otherwise it's a nice template, and will be very fast-loading and user friendly.
