I believe either design could be successful, with some revision. My thoughts in general are:
Design A: I think this design definitely succeeds in looking modern and having a good energetic feel to it. However, red is a difficult color to pull off. I think it is being used too much here.
Design B: This is definitely more bright and cheery than A, however I think it portrays more of a "fun" feeling than a "hard work" feeling. Blue and orange are clashing colors, so you have to be careful about how you use them together.
Check the notes on each image for more specific feedback.

These people in the image should be running towards the text and the main call to action, not away from it.
The most important action should stand out from the rest of the page. So, if "Start Your Design" is the most important, it should be red and "Browse Designs" should be gray. Also, the most important should be on the right.
Red is used for the most important actions, don't use it for a simple header.
You don't want less important actions drawing attention away from your main call to action.
Because red is such a string color, using a red background here makes this section seem much more important than anything around it. Consider changing it to the blue used in the Featured Design section.
A call to action like newsletter should be on the right side. Also, consider requiring only the email address as that will make it even simpler to sign-up. Move the contact information to the left side.

The most important call to action should be the one that stands out. Also, neither button should be the same color as the background. Also, I would suggest using blue for the background of this box and then use orange for the most important action button. Use a light grey for the less important actions.
These people should be running towards the box on the right, otherwise they draw attention away from your call to action.
This would make more sense if it said "Browse Our Popular Running Products"
You most important call to action button should have a unique color. If the most important action is the "Start Your Design" button at the top, then all the other buttons should use a light grey to make them obviously secondary.
If these are the same actions as the "Start Your Design" and "Browse Designs" buttons at the top, then this entire section is not-needed. It only makes the page busy.
What do events have to do with your business? If they are not important, consider dropping this off the front-page so that you can eliminate this entire third row. That will make the page much less busy and focus the user's attention better.
Consistency is important. All sections should stick to the same background color, otherwise you draw too much attention away from the important call to action at the top.
Why is this Graduation Products tab over here? This makes it look disconnected from your business. If it is a limited-time sale or something similar, then it should just be a rotating image in the header. If it is a permanent thing, then it should be part of your main navigation.
The sudden transition between the page content and the background is too drastic. Also, if images in the header are going to rotate then it becomes an even more drastic transition. Consider adding a left- and right-side border to the content area to make the transition smoother. also, consider making the blue background extend to the bottom of the page.
Use a light gray for this button. Also, consider requiring only an email address for the newsletter as that will make it easier to sign-up.
Hi again,
This is going to have to be a very quick one but since you asked me to have a look I shall try to give some feedback even if it isn't very thorough.
Basically the logo really needs some work - it's way too corporate and doesn't fit with the rest of the design or your brand at all.
The typography on the headline of version A is better but because the font isn't used anywhere else in your design it doesn't feel entirely unified with the rest of the page.
The legibility of that grey on the background in the headline isn't wonderful and I'd watch the legibility of the white out of it on the sell paragraph underneath.
In version B the navigation feels a bit too large.
The headline legibility is much better but it has to fight so hard with that big box out area on the main banner
Sorry to not be more in depth but I hope this helps a bit.
Wow, the look is professional, easy on the eyes, and a nice navigation, everything seems dandy and easy to find, keep up the good work :)
I get the feeling I have to but something to enjoy your site, so have you considered giving something away for free? Maybe tickets to a sporting event or cashback incentives. That will help with conversions, also I recommend you add brighter colors that captivate attention. Use a ocean blue to go with all the red you have. Red is a very aggressive color and does not make me feel comfortable enough to buy from someone I don't know. Also add some music
OK, I won't comment on A because I don't like it to be honest, B is the much stronger concept.
So, you obviously have a good grasp of current web trends but you're mix and matching them at odds to each other. Some thoughts that might help this come together a bit more cohesively:
Overall nicely done, though my eye is sort hopping all over the place. You may want to be sure you're highlighting the things you want the users to do.
nice
