The dark blue is too dark

I like the layout of the first version the best. The traditional Web header, but I like the cleanliness and simplicity of v2. I think the dark blue it too dark and a bit distracting. I like seeing the logo in v2 as well instead of just the circle cw.

The pricing page of v1 is much cleaner and more direct. The photography is nice so I image the photographer would be okay with showing just the one pricing option.

Here's a free thought: keep the pricing page simple. Add an email link that reads: send an email to pricing@domain.com for more pricing option (or for a full price sheet). The interested person would simply fire off an email you use a free tool (or your mail server) to send a branded formatted html email message back automatically with all the pricing and more information and contact information. This give you their email address as well as allows you another touch point with the interested person. You could ask them questions about the date of the wedding etc. Something similar could work for pricing on the portrait side.

MailChimp and Flowtown are two that I know of that could do this (I'm sure there are others and I don't endorse either, just sharing my thoughts).

At this point, it isn't clear how the albums work, but I'm sure your working that out.

I like the design but I think the simplicity can be kept intact with addition of slight details.

I would recommend you play off the typography, add a bit design elements to warm it up, and use some custom fonts for some of the content.

Also - your landing page is really useless. Why not add some information people might be looking for? Such as twitter, facebook, etc. Here's a quick mockup. If you want I can send you the psd.

Looks like the large version didn't upload correctly. Hold on..I'll fix in a moment.

Thanks Aurimas for your ideas! It's a good idea, so you like version 1 the most then? I think you're right, I need some kind of call to action on the landing page to drive people deeper into the site.

Sure thing. Yep, call to action would be good and yes, I like v1 better. I think the top bar works well with the strip of photos at the bottom and the more intuitive place for navigation is always at the top.

Hi Dave, really liked the layout.

    1. I prefer the logo with CW inside the square, it looks more complete to me and you can notice what type of business the website is about in the first look.
    2. I`m a huge fan of usability, i really think you should use the navigation on the top, not just for the standard but it really looks better there.
    3. Menu style looks incomplete for me, i think you should remove the slash "\" and add something diferent, maybe adding a diferent color on the background.

I liked the color scheme, it looks simple and related to the theme.

Sorry for my bad english, regards!

The Text should be vertically in the center of the page. Cus at present the photos look like the footer of the website.

And yes add more info/text to the body.

try removing the background from the text, and putting "Wedding Photographer" in a more elegant larger font .
