Hi, I really like the B version of your concept, it's sure much more energetic and bright! But however I didn't liked how you embed the Nav menu! You should make another version and combine the Header of A version with B version! The Nav menu on the A version is much more better and easy!
I will use notes for the rest of the comment! (B version)

I like this Header as well, but I think the B version is much more cooler and "new"!!! You just have to combine this Header and Nav menu with the B version!!

The Nav menu is okay this way, big and gray with sky blue, but it's weird this way only 3/4 of the header width...why don't you make it 100% in width? Like you did on the A version, you can try put it also above the header image!
This part is very good!!! I think it will help your customers and visitors!
The Header image it speaks from itself, it dynamic and energetic! The orange box is very nice designed!!! You just have to find the right place of the Nav Menu!!! IT IS NOT OKAY WHERE IT IS AND HOW IT IS!!!
Ohhh yeahh baby!!! I love sliders, they are very very practical!!!! They come in handy when are used wisely!
I like how you put the information here! It's very easy to read and to "scan"...You know people scan with their eyes the content of the website, if there are nice pictures they click without reading :)!
I like the Footer zone as well, it's clean and informative!!!!
I like clouds, they give a special feeling of the Website!!! But what's gonna happen on bigger screen resolutions? You have to find a way to expand it nicely!
It looks okay, but at first look I thought it was the "Feedback" button like most of the websites are using now...Maybe you can come up with the original badge for the products...
I like them both, but version A straight away feels like a site about running. I do prefer the colours on B, but the background doesn't have anything to do with running, I love the background on version A!
On both pages though, I don't think there is enough emphasis on the products, I thought it was an information site until I read your comments! The fact that I could have custom products would be a huge selling point for me, but I can't even see it mentioned on A - the box on B is better, but my attention is drawn away to the box next to it with the orange header.
So I like version B more, but with the background from A.
Okay now firstly job well done but a few things could have went better. The top header with the runners should be the main hitting point so make that stand out, and try to use less colour on the other boxes. One thing i noticed that was really bad is the Alignment!
The middle three boxes are perfect but the far left one the two small buttons should fit within that width.
As you go down the about us should align between middle box no one and two. and the same goes with the footer. Which should be considerably shrunk, maybe even made smaller and fitted onto the far bottom footer.
Second image is perfect, just adjust the alignment, and maybe similar background like the first one!
I prefer version A far more, although I do agree with Hellindley about B's colour combination (Hollywood's staple orange-teal isn't infamous for nothing). A is far more organised, visually cleaner and comes off as more professional for sure.
Both versions however, do not exactly come off as product sites, although this could be because it isn't exactly a mainstream product - people visiting your site will know what they're getting into. I have a feeling this also implies that in most cases people will know what they want and it would be nice to lead them straight there. The main banner could be more directly at the last 3 events you've got covered letting your major traffic go for the goal. Others can look at the sections below, think about custom, templates, etc.
Very neat overall, I've got some comments I've put onto the image. Hope this helps…

The curve of the menu is lost when it goes flush with the background. If the background line is halfway down the menu buttons the whole thing will stand out more.
Menu items that are of drastically different intent can be separated, or prioritised so it's clear where each customer type goes.
This area has a lot going on for very little reward. It relates to point 2 as well. (Contact Us, My Account), (Customer Service, Resource Center, About Us) - Your grouping seems a bit out of place. Also, I can't imagine a major benefit of registration since this is not a side used very often by most people so you might want to re-examine the priority of a login/register.
Never a fan of this style, because it looks like an afterthought that could not be part of the natural flow of the site. If they're part of the site, put them in. If they're a dramatically separate product, give them a section… drop down from 'Products' maybe.
These 3 sections are great, and each make their point clearly and stand out in their own way…
Not sure what this is, but it sticks out like an afterthought. This whole grey area can be bigger if you need it, but if this news is important (it's on the homepage), give it space and let it sit comfy like the rest…

Concept A is more like IBM than Nike, a bit too corporate and heavy feeling for what your selling. If you have had problems with buyers feeling you are legit, then maybe something along these lines is in order.
However, my vote is for Concept B, with adjustments to bring the navigation out from on top of the main rotating graphic. Concept B feels much lighter and more dynamic, and I can see the ability (with nav improvements) for this to be more like Google and help you sell more. The rotating 1-2-3 graphic is a good technique to highlight different product and the ability to buy a existing or customize merchandise. The sliding product area is likely to be more familiar to users than the one in Concept A.
Note: I wanted to make sure you intended to bury your 800 number. Right now, it is pretty hidden. I made notes on both concepts about this.

keep feature from concept B where you rotate through 3 headlines as long as you are able to generate content and refresh it at least 3 times a year or based on target/average revisit trend (seasonal seems intuitive).
Concept A gets marks for easy navigation, but feels very serious like IBM, not like Nike. Also, are you burying the order by phone on purpose? It is fine if so, but if you want orders, online or phone, put I would move this to the site's header.

Like the 1-2-3 rotating graphic to feature merchandise. However, hanging your navigation on top of it is likely to cause usability problems. In addition, I am curious how you would handle this on interior pages. Does the hanging nav remain or move somewhere? Overall, this direction does feel more like Google but without a great navigation solution. The colors and layout help it feel much lighter and more dynamic.
Sometimes your business model dictates that you push people to buy directly online. If this is the case, then your placement is good. If, however, you want people to buy no matter what... I would recommend moving your 800 number up near the header.

Hi there,
This is a weird one as I used to run marathons and was a fairly serious runner doing a marathon in about 3 and a half to 4 hours but I have to say I would never have used the kind of service/products you are offering although I can see the appeal of the idea.
I prefer the navigation on this version and the colours are fine. The structure of the page seems good and it looks like it would be fairly easy to use.
My main problem are the choice of fonts, design and it just feels far too corporate.
The typography on the main headline is not helping make sense of what you are saying. In version B where you have NOW on the second line, it reads much better. From a marketing point of view, I can see why you would make more of NOW but design wise it is ugly to have three different treatments of the type going on in one very short headline.
The image is great in that straight away even seeing a small thumbnail I can see this is a site which is running related.
The colours are much better and feel more suited to the market you are targetting
The typography on the main headline works much better than on Version A but this font needs to be pulled into other headings etc to pull the site design together as a whole.
The logo doesn't work so well with this design and still feels too corporate.
There are footer elements in version A which work better than in version B.
The navigation in version A works better
The typography of the headline on version B works better and the colours work better
The logo needs to be looked at as feels too corporate right now and doesn't have anything which ties it into your products.
The typography and design needs to be more cohesive across the whole page so bring headline font into other headings through the page etc.
Hope this helps a bit.
