    sperm

Posted on Aug 01, 2010 at 1:15 AM

I get the symbol, but to me, it reminds me of a sperm.

You might want to reconsider that.

Possibly make the "n" arch higher.

    font difficult to read

Posted on Aug 01, 2010 at 4:11 AM

i like it, but like the previous reviewer the swirl logo looks like a sperm

As for font selection the best is the script in final2.png although it is a little difficult to read (particularly the last few characters

Don't go for the sans serif one.

Color and direction of the flag

Posted on Aug 02, 2010 at 3:11 AM

Hi Alex, I had to ask - Any specific reason for the flag facing left? Maybe its just me but I'd rather like the flag on the right (gives an impression of moving forward) side rather than the left. The background color, according to me, would look better if its white.

Not sure about the outer circle line color. Maybe add a small note about the kind of service/product you sell.

the colors seem to be fighting for attention. A different hue of colors could work.

japanese battle flag!! golf green !! flag!!

Posted on Aug 03, 2010 at 2:28 PM

    hi buddy :)

first of all a logo should always say what it actually does.. like : http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/21210

    http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/95750

    http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/21990

    http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/57880

    http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/44160

their are so many good examples of classic and modern logo designs... www.logopond.com is one of the site :)

your logo reminds me of the japanese battle flag of WWI / WW|| :) the colors too i guess, it also looks like an golf themed logo for some obvious reasons :) and why two flag bands in one stick??

take pencil and a simple drawing book, and try to doodle something first.... trust me it really works wonders.

hope you won't mind me saying all those things cause i wouldn't have :)

    spread love <3

First, I have continued the second option. This is a sunset, not a sunshine as used in the battle flag Japanese in WWII, which means "achievement" and reinforces the concept of conquest.

The colors of the Japanese battle flag was not orange and blue, was white and red, like the flag of Japan, and its meaning was "war and power."

Moreover, the colors used in my logo (blue and orange) represent attached thereto, "courage and fearless" and a large green field, the result is this powerful combination in the design world, success, which is also associated with color green.

And finally, the second part of the flag, was inserted to symbolize that my success is also the customer success.

    Obama?

Posted on Aug 02, 2010 at 3:20 PM

I like the concept, but here are my comments:

    • Don't like the colors
    • The gradient on the grass is a little much
    • Make sure this will display in B&W
    • It looks a lot like the Obama logo, and pepsi for that matter

    Good luck!
