    Mobile

Looks good, really simple and intuitive. You mentioned mobile, personally I would focus on that, I think if you put this on a website people would expect to get it for free as it is pretty basic in functionality, if you make it an app though I don't think young drivers would think anything about paying a few dollars for it.

    Good Luck.

    More contrast in the icons?

I agree with others, that it looks very clean and balanced, no unnecessary decorations... I would only try to change the icons, maybe give them more saturated colours and not use that much shadows/blurs? They show some important information here, and it seems that they fade into the background.

Total time + background of individual times

Posted on Aug 03, 2010 at 3:13 AM

Your attention to detail is excellent with all the subtle highlights and shadows mimicking a light bevel.

I'd like to bring more attention to the Total Time portion which seems like an afterthought and left up there in the blue bar. I believe in terms of usability and information, the total time spent would be important and should therefore, warrant its own highlighted row in the table (either at top, bottom or both), with a larger, bolder font to really shout "Total!".

Lastly, the background color for the cells containing the individual times are a little too similar to the panel's outlining border color. From a visual point of view, this makes your data table "fade away" to the right side of the panel. I personally don't think you need to have a different color there, just have it the same color as its sibling cell as all data contained on that row are related anyway.

What a nice design, colors looks so clean and the app is so organized, i wish i had one of this when I was doing my driving tests.
