    I'll use notes

I like this logo, the s / light bulb is brilliant and very nicely executed.

However the main font is a bit naff...

I would probably use Helevetica Neue Light...

My only thing is the main font I would experiment with other ones, great concept!

    that font

Posted on Jul 31, 2010 at 2:28 PM

That font don't work very well, and doesn't combine with your brand.

The work on the "S" looks like a snake.

    The color looks good

Add the complete company name under the logo

Posted on Aug 02, 2010 at 10:11 PM

I prefer the 2nd logo (big S). It's cleaner and simpler. If you want to use your company's full name under it, just over your logo, I think it might be great too.

    Hi javier :)

i liked the light bulb idea...but didn't liked the execution.. it might look like an flipped question mark to someone :) from a distance people might read it AMADVERTISING

try to work on the icon "the bulb" sharpen the edges, u can use gradient on the bulb.. use the bulb as an icon rather then using it with the words..

u can also work on the intials "S & A" the "A" looks like a pencil you can just tilt it to the left so that it looks as if the pencil = A has just finished drawing the S = bulb :) and use it with the name or an icon

work on the tag line Javier :) its very .. i dnt know what.. just work on the tag line... :)

    happiness

I really like your treatment of the 'S' Color choices are excellent too Sort of Art Nouveau My only concern is the sub text getting lost in light gray/siz treatment. Will it translate well at smaller sizes? Still, it is amazing.

I would beg for permission to use Sam-Ad's

Posted on Aug 05, 2010 at 2:31 PM

In this day and age of "scan don't read "the word Advertising seems to long and tiresome Ads by Sam or Sam-Ad's works for me. I never ever thought I would like a light bulb in anything ever again but this one is way coolest well done.

Have you tried a deep yellow/orange color?

Posted on Aug 05, 2010 at 10:50 PM

Hi there, I like your idea of the light bulb. At first I read Samadvertising, then after reading your tag I got the message that the S is a light bulb.

    • Work on the tag line a bit more. With the logo so prominent I keep reading "So you need an idea"
    • The font on the first logo is great; clear, sharp and easy to read
    • Make sure you work on the curve of the "S" a bit more, I can tell where the anchor points are in the middle section of the "S".
    • Try a version with a deep yellow/orange and post it :)
    • Just for fun, have you tried looking at those energy-efficient light bulbs? Maybe that can give you an idea on the shape of the S.

    Thank you for sharing!

    Some revision :)

Posted on Aug 11, 2010 at 10:55 PM

Overall this is a good design. I like the lightbulb concept (I think that's what this is?) but it feels like it could still use a bit of massaging to pull it together.

Without knowing exactly what it's for I'm not sure about the (magenta?) color on the left two logos. It strikes me as too feminine of your target audience is everyone.

On the middle image the "you just need an idea" is a bit of a stretch to try and read, might want to make that more visible.

This feels like it's close to being ready but isn't quite done. The lightbulb modifications might help.

    Font?

Posted on Jul 29, 2010 at 6:10 PM

I really like the second graphic... emphasises the 'S' and that it's a lightbulb. Clean and simple... but I'm not convinced about the font on the first graphic.

Maybe experiment with some wider fonts?
