I like this. You have appropriate bakery typography, and I like the bee guy in the word. Cool idea. Looks like a muffin.
The only thing I could think of doing would be to switch around color schemes and depth. This logo is somewhat flat, it looks more like a 'print friendly' version.
Still, I think it's great design wise.
Great logo, only concern is that it might be unreadable if it is made smaller.
I would look for a font that fits that style that was designed with small print in-mind.
Great design, it looks fluffy and tasty.
Sorry but I have to disagree with the other two - I think this is a pretty average, if not poor, logo.
First off, the clip art style image. Even if it isn't clip art, it looks like clip art, and any logo that looks like that is destined for the bin in my book. Clip art looks cheap - so, so does this. It's not exactly a nice image of a muffin either, it looks squashed...
Secondly, the font and the whole bee thing. I get it, I really do, but I think it's what you might call overkill. The font is spidery and too thin, and it is going to be difficult to read for a lot of people from a distance.
The whole bee thing looks kinda silly to me too, and not in a good way. I think there could be better ways of doing this.
I also think the use of colours add to the cheap, clipart feel of the logo.
Sorry but I just really don't like this logo, I don't think it works at all.
Hi Michael. your feedbacks are always welcome
You are right about something, "always there is a better way to do things. But when designers are working graphic design for real, we have to fit our creativity and skills to the customer budget and requirements, of course under ethic parameters
But this doesn't mean that I won't improve the logo with all these useful feedbacks, sure I'll do it, that is the purpose posting my work here.
Really like this logo. Very original and it looks fantastic.
Only concern also is the font however. It is a bit unreadable at the moment (doesn't really stand out to me). It may be difficult to read as the logo gets smaller.
Other than that, I really like it. Good job!
I like it I like bee I wonder if there is a joke with Busy BeeC Not sure if middle letter ic C. or big lowercase e. May look strange with a quick look, maybe company name needs to be lower so cake is obvious.
I really appreciate the color choice you made. What i dont like:
I would really like to see a second version of this.
Love this design. Think it works great, easily recognized. The only thing I was wondering is how does this look smaller for business cards or whatever. Does the "Bee C. Muffins" get lost in the orange? It is cleaver to have a bee within the word bee. This is where I might wonder if it's too small. Great job!
Thanks for your feedback Randy I just uploaded couple images with some modification take a look and let me know how it looks
have a good one
Really like your third one with the muffin behind the text. Think this works great, bolder text helped out.
There seems to be some real conflict here between the Bee face and the muffin. The bee face does not say "bee" to me, and without the actual word, it could be an ant, a grasshopper, a butterfly, etc. The graphic should carry the bee-ness a little further, and not use the word as a crutch. Offhand, I would say using a yellow/black color scheme would help immensely. The muffin graphic also bothers me in that the bordered top does not close, and the muffin seems to be oozing out. It is too busy up there, and the orange muffin shapes on the right have a distinctly different character than the top, bottom and left - pointed vs. curves. This is a good start, but I would strive for more bee-ness in color and graphic, and maybe move the text down below the muffin, so we can see more muffin holder and not just the blob up top.
