Overall the site looks simple to use, with information being presented in a cluttered, albeit standard "sports" format. The background frustrates me as a user because it is just so strong that it continually distracts me from reading the content effectively.
You could even reduce the line height on the posts slightly.
The site layout itself looks pretty good to me.
The bg is cool, its a bit different and its creative but I think it totally clashes with the site itself - the clubs colours are black and white so reflect this in your bg - scrap the dirty/old style of the yellow and desaturate it.
I would definately make the top of the site flush with the top of the page too - it wont be floating in the middle when its online surely?
Good job though
Thanks. I will try to desaturated the background.
The site won't be floating. A margin of 20px or something to the top is what I'll do probably.
While I love the background, I would take away the dirty look and just make it black and white to help even out the website.
Other than that, the actual website looks fine. Everything seems organized and the typography is great. Good job so far!
Ellers veldig bra arbeid. c",
Takker.
Takk for tipsene Magnus!
looks good, I like it but I agree with the background on black and white, that way you have color contrast on your news pictures to attract the eye.
make the footer more interesting, add some content there.
and I think you need to think about bigger resolutions in width, make the image larger or at some point start fading it a color (of course i suggest black or gray if you make the background black and white).
Thanks. The footer is a bit boring. Will try to make it more interesting.
The problem is that we need to display pretty much information on the front page. All images will be as large as the top left one if you click on them for full articles. :)
well what you have so far looks very very good to me, I understand it, I can focus on every section separately, nice white space everywhere, good line height, colors and typography looks good. So you can add as much content you want.
I think a nice effect would be to make the background black and white and lose the header bacground(that dark gray where you have the logo), and add a bit of a dark gradient from the top on the background.
Ok, I've changed the top header background here.
Take a look: http://dev.juvenorge.com/images/14.png
fantastic, I think that looks fantastic. One little suggestion, make the menu items separators a bit smaller in height and the left and right spaces a bit bigger.
Not very original. Maybe you can desing your blocks more accurate (some gfx, or color, typo for example).
Sorry, but I don't understand what you are trying to say.
Could you please explain some more?
good job Thomas ! love it !
