Hi Elclanrs, this is a cool looking logo. Gives off a love for the feudal era of Japan, ^_^. Don't know if you intended that though for this design. Here is what I think will improve your design:

    1. Change the t in studios. It doesn't look so much like a t, it can be mistaken for an r.

    2. Reconsider the t and n in noto. I like the idea you have behind them, but it may be too much. I would suggest keeping the n the way it is in the second version and change the t. It looks more like a katana and adds a major part into why I think it gives a feudal Japanese era vibe, instead of a web design company vibe.

Those are my only two major concerns, but overall this is nice.

I like the t in studios, but maybe try making it even on both sides.

The t in NOTO now can be mistaken as an umbrella or katana. Maybe try widening the horizontal crossing line. It might be able to be recognized better as a t that way.

Your logo does a good job of maintaining its look and feel with different color schemes. The problem with the t now that it is a weired shape. Keep the area you altered straight like in #2 and try rounding both corners at the bottom. That might take away the katana look.

I tried to make the T look more like a T, what do you think? Im having problems with that, Im not sure how it looks now.

This is a good improvement. It looks more like a t now.

Yeah this looks great, I think you've pretty much nailed it if this is what you envisaged when you started building this logo.

The second version is definately an improvement!

It does give out an oriental feel though - does this represent the purpose that well? I dunno, but maybe if you played with the sizes or height of the red containers it might give it a quirkier look and feel. Something to try maybe?

    But good job!

    too tall, off balance

Posted on Jul 19, 2010 at 10:39 AM

I like the overall concept of the logo. My two main concerns:

    1) The red areas seem a little too tall to me. I would make them a little less elongated. Not too much though or it will look cramped.

    2) The balance of the t section is off. The t appears to be much more to the right than it is in the middle. Move that over to the left a little bit.

    Great

Posted on Jul 20, 2010 at 10:19 AM

The reason this logo is so respectable is simple: it is EXTREMELY difficult to design an attractive logo where each letter resides on it's own "platform". There are very few that pull it off well, and you've done it amazingly here. I prefer the first one, with the tall letter platforms (disagree with Patrick here). Excellent work.

I like the second version much more than the first one. The letters on the plattforms are more attractive to me. The letters from "studios" stand more out too, because the red isn't so dominant.

The "R" or "C" in the top right corner is too small, make it bigger or delete it.

It is nice and compact logo, great work.

    Nice

Posted on Jul 21, 2010 at 4:06 AM

It is really a nice concept, i think you should go for 2nd one. Its an improved version, looks more clear, but I feel it would be better if you change the angle of t, i mean the above are of t is tilted to left side, try tilting it equally to right side, ( I feel like that, im not a perfect one, its just my thinking) coz it looks like 'E' (uppercase). If you take it equally to opposite direction it would look nice.

    Hope I helped.

    Best Regards.

    secund version much better

Posted on Jul 23, 2010 at 12:11 PM

What you could try, is to change the font. Try some more fonts. i don't know why it gives me a negative vibe.

the read is a bit bold but it looks great.

    I like it.

    Like colors.

    Like boxes.

    Like funky letters.

But 1st and 3rd letters are not obvious.

    Cool concept but change font

Posted on Sep 24, 2010 at 2:22 PM

I like the concept and colors but not so much the font. Try experimenting with a different 't' in noto. Try a different font for studios too.

    change font in studios

Posted on Jul 17, 2010 at 4:36 PM

The 't' especially, odd letter shape.... not sure.

Like the letter forms at a slight angle busting out of the box - the symmetry of the two o's give a nice sense of balance.

The slight curves, like wind behind a sail, continues nicely with the energetic feel.

Simple, clear and fun to look at.
