    Very nice design!

I like what I see! Nice and clean

I just find the gray footer zone a little bit dirty...to much gray :d, why don't you try a smooth gradient?

I like the picture it gives a warm welcome! If I were a client, getting information is fast and I will be grateful!

So I will go ahead and modify the footer!

    a few things..

this is a very neat design.. however, be very careful when you use stock photographs- human element is good and you could pick few of them and show on rotation. i am sure you will be fixing the form overlapping image issue on the second sample. the fields are smaller as at least name and email fields should be bigger.

neat design- yes i agree. i do not think there is an issue using stock photographs but just make sure that the same image is not used on some other competitor's site.

Thanks Abhishek! Initially I am planning to keep the overlapping concept and let it be like that naturally. The fields size, yes they can be made a little bigger.

Forgot to add that Name, email. phone are optional fields as you can see the ASTERIX on above fields.

So a little overlapping was like a design :. The design would be via CSS in background.

    Fresh

I like this very much, very clean and fresh and I have to say I actually like the grey at the bottom.

I would however sort the form field overlapping the image, this looks like a design error.

    nice work

I like this design. Great job! Few suggestions/questions:

    • Have you considered using the 2 column grid instead of one? This way you can feature "Why hCentive" and "Contributing" in one row, no scrolling needed. I think it might also add interest to the page layout.
    • Personally I miss short explanation "Search and Compare Health Insurance Plans" you currently have on the site. It quickly tells me what I am to do here. The "Get Instant Quote" is not descriptive enough for me: Quote for what?
    • The zip code textfield seems a bit too big;
    • I would love to understand the rationale for having the enter zip code field on the home page and having it again on the next page. it seems redundant. Did you consider to just have a big green button saying "Get your instant quote" on home page?
    • I am not sure if you need to have an image of people on the second page as well as "Why hCentive". I believe on that page the main focus should be the form by itself and all other visuals are just distracting from the main task - filling the form.

the zip code is the only field available on this screen- so in my mind, size needs to be bigger..

Hey Vita, thanks a lot for all the specific comments.

Tried 2 column grid but it was becoming way too crowded and overshadowing the form once the second step came in.

The Tag line yes I agree is not that descriptive than the current website. Thanks :)

ZIP code is a very important field when you are searching the insurance plans and as you can see we are trying not to overwhelm users in the first place as in current site where the entire form comes in. It's kind of scary for them. We have tried Zip - Zap - Zoom in a way :).

ZIP alone can't get you quotes so we have all other fields as I explained in point above. The business aspect of it is a bit restricting here.

Your last point of having image on second page, well it will be all ajax and no server hits so moment you hit the CONTINUE button the first ZIP form disappears and this new form fades in. jQuery u see :).
