Colors are good... but
- Welcome message is a little long and pushes the rest of the page down.
- Right column is pretty important but seems to be an after-thought in this design.
- Is this the homepage? Unless I read the lengthy welcome paragraph (which I didn't), I don't really know where I am or what I can do here.

The search bar is not next to the input line which affects usability. It is very web 2.0, the colors are nice, gradients subtle, how the text is formatted is the biggest off point. At most points there is too much text in too little space. Not enough padding. One huge flaw I just realized, there is not way to tell links apart from regular text! Add underlines or a color change, something! Also something people have gotten used to that would help usability is hover effects, when we hover over links usually a color change or an added/disappearing underline lets us know that is indeed a link. That's the biggest problem. Last thing is in the screen shot, the line length at the top is waaaaay too long, however on the actual site I did not see that so I guess you fixed it? Happy Designing
