i like the option b - and to improve you can do the following (IMHO):
add a few pixel space between letter 'a' and the big green circle.
i like the dot on 'i' in the sample a. you could use the same on b.
The first thing I think you need to think about is that the logos are fairly difficult to distinguish. I thought it said Avitart until I read your description, and the top ones almost look like Asia.
webdesign really runs together and should probably have some sort of division.
I think 2a is my favorite of all, but concept 1 really intrigues me.
I'm curious as to what the mark is supposed to represent? Do the green dots mean anything? Is there a reason they are in the place they are? Is the mark supposed to look like a lowercase a? If so I have to wonder why as it doesn't seem to really fit your name.
As was said earlier, the fonts are a little bit weak, especially in concept 2 and "webdesign" in 1a.
Patrick, dots do not mean anything....they are just part of my style which I tried to reflect in the logo. The same with the mark. Your questions are very valid to ask when designing a logo for a client. But here I do my own personal logo. Everything I want it to do is to reflect my preferred style of design or my personality. Thank you for the feedback.
Hey Vita
These are all really nice designs, so it's hard to choose one.
Are you really sold on the fonts? That's my first question, because they all strike me as a little 'weak'...
Go with b... alternatively you look at another font...
Good Luck!
I wouldn't change a thing on any of these choices and whoever said that the fonts are weak are totally wrong. Please don't change the fonts! They're elegant and classy and especially work well for a web designer's portfolio.
Personally, I find concept 2 more engaging mostly because of the more prominent green and because I don't have to struggle to read "vitart". I'm leaning towards Concept 2A because it also includes "design" which I think is important to include. If you're using your logo outside of your website, people will appreciate knowing right away that the logo is for a design studio or something instead of having to guess what "vitart" is.
Thank you Jami. I am struggling to choose between readability and design which appeals to me more.
I agree with this. I like how the first 2 look more, but It's hard to make out Vitart. Either way, I like to look and typography.
very well developed
Hi Vita,
I really like where concept 1 is going. Really. I don't know you but something tells me it's more of your personality. It's diferent and unique. It's also elegant and feminine.
Concept 2 seems like the "safe" approach.
Concept 1b is very nice with the green details. I would look at the "webdesign" words below and play with it a bit more. Maybe smaller.
I hope that is helpful.
Rob
Intuitively I lean towards concept #1 too. You noticed it right - the #2 I did as a safer choice. I have not yet decided which way to go....but maybe since it's my personal logo and I'm not going to be opening a design studio or selling anything I will go with direction of #1. I'll keep working on fonts. Unfortunately one I really want to use is quite expensive. So I found this one which looks similar but obviously does not really work.
Thank you for the feedback.
I like the first concept, but at first view first letter looks like "a"... I don't know how much you care if you expect the visitors or clients to "read" the logo or to "decipher"
Anyway, me as a designer I like the first concept and the b) version but add the dot on the "i"
Really Cool
like design
bom bom
Thank you for your feedback.
