    Font

I think the fonts you chose spoiled an otherwise fantastic design.

I really cant even comment much on the leaf because its so awesome. But the fonts you chose, are not.

First off: Keep it the same font, although you can make one bold or italic, But dont use two different fonts.

I would use something like http://www.dafont.com/antipasto.font?text=ColoEarth or http://www.dafont.com/yanone-kaffeesatz.font?text=ColoEarth

    But thats just my taste.

<warning> make sure this looks good in black and white!</warning>

I would also scale the text down a little bit, and i dont think you need a space between the words.

    Good Luck!

    Font

That leaf is amazing. You really nailed it with that. Beautiful color choices. Great design. Clearly relates to the subject and message.

One big problem: I'm not sure how well it will look in a smaller size. See the thumbnail of the logo here? It's probably not the best resolution and it might be a little distorted but it's clear that the digital lines are not showing up very well.

Also the font isn't quite there yet. Are they supposed to be two separate words? If so, then I can understand why you added a space between Color and Earth. Otherwise, you should probably get those two words closer together.

    Suggestion to experiment with:

Keep the Colo as it is (a little bolder, rounded), and use an elegant, thin font like Quicksand or a thinner version of the Colo font (if you have it). Putting Earth in a thin, delicate font can also be symbolic of the Earth itself (as fragile and delicate).

I did have a thiner version of that font but liked, the quicksand. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Make it simpler

Posted on Jul 02, 2010 at 10:15 AM

I like the concept but I'm not entirely sure the design would scale very well. Case in point is the thumbnail of the logo. It's hard to see the detail and it seems like a regular leaf.

I would simplify the design a little so that the outline of the leaf itself looks tech (?)

    Draft

Excellent design, but try to use same font type, maybe just with different colors or Colo to be bold and Earth not Leaf is amazing. Try to use few leaf samples, maybe some samples are better than this one ( for me this one is great, but who knows?!)

Thank you everyone for the reviews. It is one font, Aller bold and regular but i'll play with other typefaces, and see what i come up with. Can I ask why nobody seems to like this typeface? I'll also give some angles to the leaf so the smaller version looks techy too. Thanks again everyone.

really like -02. I would suggest adding a strap line to explain what the service is.
