This is a beautifully laid out design. The layout is unique, yet functional and easy-to-use. I especially love the dimension added to each column. Good job!

    Cheers, Serina

      • 1move to the left

This link is currently being over-emphasized as part of the body text. I'd consider moving it to the left side.

      • 2categories?

Instead of a navigation link (which might confuse people), I'd suggest placing the categories in the right sidebar and/or in the footer.

      • 3contact

Will this page be different from the form and contact information on the frontpage? If not, I'd consider taking this page out or moving it to the footer.

      • 4second menu

If the site's sub-pages are going to be long, then adding second primary menu is okay. If the pages are going to be about this long, then perhaps keeping only the sub-menu (e.g. sitemap, about us, contact) is fine.

Great design - maybe move testimonials up?

Posted on Jun 09, 2010 at 4:02 PM

When I'm going to hire a contractor, the first things I want to see are real testimonials and work samples. I lik the photo gallery right on top -- I hope those will be pics of sample work instead of people working. I would also like to see the tesimonials moved up on page. Maybe switch places with recent news, as I think testimonials would interest more people than recent news.

Love the easy contact form, phone number, and e-mail link all right on the front. Colors are great for a construction website. Very nice.

Other than the placement of "Click to Enlarge" which was mentioned, it looks really cool. Really nice work.

Photo Gallery - click to enlarge

Posted on Jun 09, 2010 at 3:32 AM

Hi, I love this site...nice colors, type, layout, etc.

Though with my background in design I can tell that 'CLICK TO ENLARGE' means click a photo gallery item to enlarge.

This might not be obvious to the normal person and might mistake it to click to enlarge 'FEATURED PHOTO'.

    Great work and the best.
