The second one is the best of the three. The larger sidebar complicates things. A single header with 2 columns below it is way better.
Plus adding filters can be complicated at first so having it tucked in the sidebar makes it unobtrusive and also easily accessible at the same time letting the header convey the message.
Also, borrow the colored Sign In & Register buttons from the 3rd pic as they go well with the navigation menu.
I think I like the first one the best. I think the grid and layout visually make the most sense here. The one thing that bothers me about it is it is too typical and expected. i wonder if there is a way to set it apart somehow. I do however like the site and I think it is very clear and navigable like an e-commerce site should be.
Nice work
I agree whole heartedly with Nayan.
The second one is best with the full width header for site ads or calls to action. I was going to say the exact same thing about swiping the coloured tabs from the third one for use in the top. But it does add to the clean and simple design to leave them as text links. Depends how much attention you wish to draw up there.
Perfect place for the search bar is on the right. If you move the ads to the right they'll never get seen. They have way more visibility up top.
Having it full width and then splitting below helps to tie the whole thing together.
Nicely done. I like how all of the elements are consistent.
Hello! :)
I'm new here, and I see this design for the first time, here are some of my observations:
First of all, I like the minimal design of the page...the white layout. I like this kind of menus...when it is white and simple. However the menu is a tablike menu, but the tab design is not connected to the site, it not give a logical connection between the menu and the content below it. Some designe element is missing to get this connection.
There is no any kind of title on the page. I miss it...to look on the page, and see the title, what is the page about.
Primary call to action is not really visible. Actually, for me it is not 100% clear where should I click next on this page
From three pics the second one is the best, because it gives kinda frame for a page.
The sign up and the registration "buttons" are best when they are text. If the registration is very important I would put it on the home page on very visible part f the page, but I feel here it is not necessary to do this.
It will be a good page. :)
I hope I could tell you some new, and good ideas... :)
Greeting, Szabi
