    Usability issues

Posted on May 27, 2010 at 6:57 AM

    Hi Mr Interaction Designer :)

I like the look of your site a lot. Service seems to be of a great value too. Few usability issues though:

    1. Simplification of the site would help. There are too many things going on on the homepage. Too many elements.

    2. IMHO this ever changing blue area is a mistake. It rotates messages and pictures at the speed faster user can read not mentioning understanding of making a decision.

    3. Maybe change each of the blue area slides into a separate section below the main one. As a new user I would understand more from the site if these thing were visible all the time.

    4. You product is unique but all this listings on the homepage make it look complex. I would make user interested first and than give him more information so he has time to 'suck them in'

    5. How it works presentation could be cut down to 10 slides instead of impressive 24. Why do I need to know that Mark lives in LA??? :)

    6. Login inputs should be on the homepage. Why do I need to drill to another page?

    7. Sign up could be simpler. Do you really need me to confirm my password, 2 names & reCAPTCHA?

    Hope this helps :)

    Cheers!

    Michael

It look good, but like a common template from templatemonster. in my opinion you need to improve the personnality of this site

Move the social networking icons to the header :)

I would change nothing. It is focused with a singular call to action. It is clean without being sparse. It is informative without being overwhelming. And it's definitely built for speed from an SEO perspective IF absolute positioning is used. Very nice.
