Hi Eric,
Looks nice, purposeful and engaging or I think one word can best explain is the “close the great one!”
I would love to see it to be the beloved one so I have few of my suggestion which I think can make it the “great one!”
Logo seems like having two tag line “partners” and “the world’s largest patent research community” if your biz name is “articleonepartners” then it should be written in a manner so people can read it in one go, as of now I am having the problem of reading the article one first then stuck on the partners to understand what is partners all about and after reading the “finding better… faster” paragraph I got to know that it’s the full name of your business
I went through the each word of this homepage and somehow I feel that the content writing could be even better and simple and should easily convey the message to their targeted audience
Try to move the logo and tagline a bit more up aligned with the right hand side elements
Blue gradient used in background a bit eye distracting, I think use of the light grey tone will work here
Photo used from the istockphoto.com looks generic, I think you need to search a better photo which serve the objective well
LHS paragraph need to have few more line so that I could be align with the rest of two section
Footer could be more polished
Overall good job and just few tweaks and it going to be the best one :) !
Really love this design. Very clean and corporate but also very unique. Hard mixture to accomplish.
The woman and man are absolutely perfect photo choices. Appeals to all!
I see you're using green as your links, but I don't think it matches. Good for the CTA buttons but for ream more, and get updates, I'd just use another blue color.
All in all great job.
Great job! I believe this site meets your objective and goals. The navigation looks easy to use, the tagline under the logo and the information in the main image clearly explains what the site is intended for.
I don't have many comments - just a few little things to consider. I think there may bee too much blue so close together in the main image and background. Consider an alternative globe with brighter colors and contrasting colors for the Clients and Researchers section. This will spice everything up and make it more catchy.
Also, make sure your buttons all have the same type of rounded edge.
I like the design overall, but my eye keeps going to the world and people image. Try decreasing its brightness or put wording on it.
Otherwise, the site is clean and gives basic information.
I like the site but I find it a bit monochromatic and the green doesn't work. It may need another color or it may need the green to be picked up elsewhere for it to blend.
I guess what bothers me the most is the negative space. There are empty areas in the design that look empty not on purpose but because there was nothing else to say. Negative space is an important design element but should not be there because you run out of things to say.
The quote in the middle may look better if it was justified left and had a picture to the right.
I like the footer scroller but I would tighten it up a bit. The middle area (with the green buttons) I think would look better if the buttons were aligned at the bottom instead of flowing with the text. Not easy but not impossible either.
But I am picking. The page overall is pleasant and communicates well its purpose.
i like this web design. design with confidence:)
I like this, its really good.
I would just remove the generic stock photo, then do something different with the background blue..
I dont think it's the best colour blending into white but it also makes the blue beneath the main image lose its impact - (for what will be the area which I presume should take the visitors focus).
just minor details like the green, you don't need to get rid of it just change to a different tone of green. I like the top but it takes away all my attention from the content, maybe because the map is so bright.
Hi,
Everything is done nicely..oicons, button font n their color.but I think u should work on header..
Oh this one looks professional. Good purposes, nice details and great use of icons! Well done. I think buttons like "Join now" and "register" need a little more shiny shiny, cuz they look as plane as the Mainmenu-Background. Give them a little shiny style or turn the gradient upsidedown to let them look a little more different to the bar. Bit I love it fav
Good work on a nice, clean site design. Overall it feels like a professional, trustworthy site.
Some suggestions:
Have you considered using a different color than blue? Blue feels a little too common with corporations these days. If you stick with blue, perhaps you could limit the variations of blue hues. The three bars look good, but the blue used in the background and the blue used in the stock image don't seem to fit. You may be better off adding another color to your palette and using it in the background or stock image.
Emphasis. What's the #1 thing you hope users to do from this page? Assuming it's the "How it works" and "Join now" buttons, they need more emphasis somehow: more whitespace around them, brighter, higher contrasting colors, etc.
It's not clear to me what the "Clients" and "Researchers" bars do. Is this an accordian? Does clicking them take me to a new page? Are they even clickable? I like they they don't grab too much attention, but it would be nice to know at a glance if they're interactive. Even if the entire box is clickable, underline some of the text ("Connect" and "Join the community") to make it look like a link.
I think this site will be highly purposeful for you target audience. The colors go great together and the graphics are crisp and clean. One thing I might point out is the whitespace underneath the "join Now" and "Lean More" buttons because I think there might be too much of it. Besides that I'd say this site is great and you should definitely go for it.
I would move the social network icons to the top in the form of a drop down next to choose language.
The Green buttons stand out a little to much. I suggest doing something like the light blue in the researchers slider at the top. Once my eye caught the green buttons its hard to move past them because my eye keeps going back to them.
If you're pulling green in through the links of new studies and the recent posts sections I might try to work in a little more green in at the very top. that might help out and even out the bold green buttons.
The website looks really great and anyone that has it should be proud. Very clean a simple look! Great job!
I like the overall concept of making a "corporate" stylish. The globe picture distracts me a little bit, it took me a few minutes to notice there was a navigation above it. If you want to stick with that picture maybe change the nav bar to a contrasting color that stands out more or maybe move the picture up so that the menu hangs over it.
I would rather see the how it works/join now call to action more prominently displayed without the globe.
The two face shots are a nice touch.
I think this could be a very successful website.
Love the design. It communicates the sites vision very well. Great job!
i like it
Really nice. I'd make the background of the text "connections intellectual..." transparent and black, and move the "How it works" & "John Now" buttons to other place, they doesn't fit there. Maybe on the bottom of the text.
You have 3 columns on your content area. There's no much space left for you to write content, I think you should make only 2 columns, get rid of 1 of the blocks.
The "Join now" & "Learn More" buttons don't look great, try to re-done them (maybe copy the layer style from the other buttons and just change the colors)
The arrows in the footer look stretched, and the whole area looks quite boring... Try to add some colors or something.
Good luck! :)
