This is a nice piece to start with. Though I have the following to say.
The gray is too much i think, can blend with a shade of red in logo if pure red is too hot, to draw attention to call to actions. See attached.
I think your dashboard is not a bad one but you can do more to polish it up. Add Fav? should be in full and place beside actions icons where necessary and reduce their size to allow room for other things.
For the post buttons could they be hidden until i type something in the text box.(that's my thought though)
Have much to say i think, but this is okay for now.

Overall I think you're acheiving what you set out to do.
The logo needs a bit more work for me in order to pop out a bit more - the edges of the 8 are a bit pixellated so maybe look at this and adding some depth to it somehow.
Overall really nice and clean and I like your rollover states on the tabs.
Agree with Amazing and you just need to add a little colour here and there to lift the site and bring it to life a bit. Use colour subtly to highlight calls to action and link in with the 8 in the logo.
