Great stuff here! I will nitpick on a few things for you:

2 is out of the question. The brown gradient effects on the top of the wrapper are far inferior to your other two options. The lack of the swirly backgrounds cheapens the brand. Besides, the snowflakes are too cliche.

3 is great, but still not the best. You are focusing too much on the red and green colors and stifling the effect that the brown can give.

1 is the one I would go with. The red and green are used more as pseudo accent colors, which solidifies your brand with the brown and white. What's more, the bows are more prominent since they share in these vibrant colors. This complements your script and swirl style.

A couple of things that bother me (extremely nitpicky):

    1. Give collection - the word collection is too close to the chocolate.

    2. The negative space below the text "all natural..." bothers me a bit, but I guess it works okay. I would suggest playing with the position of "all natural..." Don't bring it all the way down, but find a happy medium. Another possible solution would be to work in some more subtle swirls into that negative space.

    Hope this helps.

    typographic treatment

Posted on Apr 19, 2010 at 11:24 AM

I do agree with the majority that #3 is most appealing. However, I want to suggest some layout revisions, mainly typographic.

The biggest issue is the tension created between the N in "Collection" and the chocolate bell picture. I think simply shrinking the word collection a bit would solve it, as well as create a nicer contrast against "Give".

Also, the part where it says "All natural Milk Chcolate...." seems too close to the left edge. Nudging it to the right would ease that tension as well.

    Great Concept

Posted on Apr 23, 2010 at 12:18 AM

There's always that difference between good and great. I strongly believe this set has traveled that distance.

Out of the three, 1 is what I would go with. Reasons not hard to find -

    1. The use of color to provide an 'accent' works much better than using colored overalls.
    2. The bows and overall impact is much better when Red Labeling is superimposed or seen in conjunction with the brown background.

Branding is superb in all. As a general point, you might want to try the label shaped differently than a square. It may be too much, but worth a try!

Extremely nice design on number three. I wouldn't change a thing.

I think I need some chocolate now :)

    Nothing :)

I like #3 the best. The #2 doesn't fascinate me too much.. Maybe I'll just change the color of the tag (on #3 of course) something more neuter. But really, it's perfect ;)

    not much

Posted on Apr 19, 2010 at 11:12 AM

Number 3 gets my vote, the background on number 2 looks too much like steam and on the brown background looks like a produect relating to coffee.

The first one however doesnt have anything festive on it, the 2nd one does have snow flakes so maybe this is an area to look at.

"Edit" I didnt scroll down enough to see there where three concepts and changed my opinion to number 3.

    christmas?

Posted on Apr 19, 2010 at 5:26 PM

    Firstly nice work,

What do the colours represent? I view them as green is a mint flavoured one and red is dark chocolate... Is this the case? Or are they general christmas colours?

2 is the weakest - however if the chocolates are going to be sold at christmas only, the #2 has the only direct link to christmas via the snowflake.

I like #3 the best but only if the colours relate to a flavouring... if it doesn't then I prefer the #1.

I have just squinted at the image - and can see that the green is dark chocolate and red is milk chocolate???? If that is so, I would revise the green colour as green in a chocolate wrapper shouts out MINT.

You may want to try and use the snowflake with more subtly to bring a christmas element to the design.

    first one wins!

Posted on Apr 19, 2010 at 5:52 PM

The first one is the best one, while the second one should be forgotten. The third one might look better of the cards weren't the same colours as packaging. Some work has to be done on the cards anyway, there is a lot of empty space in the bottom left corner while the things are a bit crowded in the middle top part.

catchy and elegant at the same time

Posted on Apr 19, 2010 at 6:14 PM

The colors really assemble christmas :p anyway, I like this packaging! The package overall looked elegant, but the part where you the logo on the left side seems like it's screaming for attention, I dunno if this is a good thing or a bad one, but if these packages are placed in a row with other chocolates, my eyes would find it pretty easy because of that. Great work, liked! :)

    Bravo, very nicely done

Posted on Apr 19, 2010 at 7:35 PM

Wow, this is really well done. I love it! The top concept looks the most rich and appetizing. A really clean and and contemporary design. The third one is also good but I am definitely partial to the top design. Great work!

    One All the Way!

Posted on Apr 20, 2010 at 2:29 AM

The color scheme is great, the swirls on the chocolate and dark chocolate gives the viewer the curiosity and not in your face such as in 3.

I do agree with the tight space given to the word "collection". Overall I'm in love with number one.
