    16 looks better

Honestly nothing seems to stand out.

The name feels more casual and hence a San-Serif font would be more appropriate.

If you client is willing to spend more money on the font, then pick a font which has a web version from Typekit.com or Ascender fonts so that you can even use them to embed them in your web pages.

      Hi Harish,

Thanks for the advice regarding TypeKit & Ascender fonts ;)

With regards to the concept it's purely to gain some feedback on which font to use as apposed to being any type of design concept. Maybe that's not a very good use of concepts but what I wanted to achieve on this draft was purely to get some opinion on which type everyone likes and if anyone could recommend any based on the concept description. I must admit I thought a Serif font would work best but I may pursue the San-Serif avenue.

Thanks for the feedback it's much appreciated ;)

Would love to see how you complete this logo and how the final one looks. Do keep posting it here.

i know some logos can be typography based - but to be honest you have just presents a list of fonts - so not much to review

      Hi Joe,

This is the first stage of drafting this logo and so I wanted to start with selecting a type. What I wanted to achieve by posting this concept was purely to gain some feedback on the fonts i've displayed and if anyone could recommend any other font types based on my concept description. Once the font is selected I will move to the design phase! Is there any font above you favor over another or would recommend??

      Cheers, Sahus

ok, sorry i didnt read to the end of your intro text.....

its hard as the type might not go with the logo you design - i would do it the other way around - but maybe 9 or 6

      Thanks Joe it's much appreciated.

I have sketched out some designs on paper which include the entire logo as complete but I was not sure which actual font to go with hence why I have decided to get some feedback on type. Not sure whether that's the best way to use the conceptfeedback website but only time will tell. I will upload the next concept shortly.

      Cheers, Sahus

    #9 and #10 seems working

Posted on Apr 14, 2010 at 7:43 AM

    Hi Sahus,

I hope you have already tried a more fonts options and this is what client will be interested in so I think if I were the client I would have stop on the 9 and 10number and my first could be to choose the thin font as it's invoke the softness and I think if you try to make the (#9) font thinner and try some typography changes in the same then it could be even much better.

    Hope this helps you

You didnt mention what type of clothing is being sold. I personally prefer 11, but this would only go well with a boutique style of product.

    stay with a serif font

Posted on Apr 14, 2010 at 11:55 AM

I think if you stay with a serif font, maybe with a bit of cursive influence, you could make the logo work... See attached.

This is pretty hard to do given the little information on the company that we have. You really could make many of these fonts work, it is all in how you display them and put with them. I personally like the following:

    13 - 6 - 8 - 10

I think those fonts have a little bit of the flair you are going for but will still need to be finessed.
