Nate Hamilton is right, black and white will looks good too. Definitely votes on the 2nd version.
Helping the people to get a clearer view of your TC, no harm just a suggestion on attachment. :)
Nice design and concept. If you didn't tell me it was a lightbulb I would not have realized it. It looks more like an latch of some sort because it is on its side. I think stylizing the lower "metal" area into a more recognizable design (ie. the grooves of the lightbulb) would help people identify the symbol quicker.
The gradient makes this more complicated then needed. I really like the black and white version you had a whole lot better. Don't overcomplicated the logo.
True true.. I got too excited about the gradient. I tend to do that, hehe! I made a second version which I think is better.
Yeah, the second version is better but I think I still gravitate toward the black and white version.
I think with this gradient you want to simulate the effect produced for a bulb turned on, the intention is good, but with this gradient you are getting several colors that are not helping to transmit your concept, what about try the same gradient effect in black and white, then instead several colors you will get several tones
the colour could be worked out a little as its not soothing to eye, but the bulb part looks nice. I would have wanted to add the name "thinking creative" to give more clarity to the logo
I like the second version, the first one doesn't look good. Also, like Erin Davidson says, if you didn't tell us that was a lightbulb we wouldnt realized it.
I think it's really great! The colors are are a really good choice and the light bulb is clever. It looks much better in color than black and white.
I like the gradient on the top, have you tried other colours?
I like it, but I think Michael's idea is a nice touch.
I also think it's hard to get light bulb from ur symbol. I think the top part, the curvy part, is actually well drawn, but the base of it isn't working for me. The base is normally taller and less fat in light bulbs.
I think with some more work, this logo will turn out great.
I think the second version is better but if u change the colour of the TC to black for instance and leave the red of the bulb, it would be better.
I like this version! :D
