    parts

You need to work on the 3 parts of the site:

    • the registration part is to big, try to place it a little down, so you can see some of the parts of the photo behind

    • the portraits need a border or something to hold them in the layout

    • the 3column-part is good but try to attract it a little bit more. Maybe with the same style of the portrait-part if you redesigned it

Great, thanks. What do you think of the color choice for the text? I am having a hard time with the gray as it seems out of place and very sad - but on the other hand I can't seem to make other colors fit :-(

    registration form

Maybe titles on the top of the fields (or in the fields) and the button on the right. This would leave more space for the stuff below. And is more convenient for mobile users by the way.

    Diversity and Registration Bait

Posted on Apr 05, 2010 at 1:03 PM

Hi, I dont read spanish but my wife is chilean and I like your site so I would like to offer a few comments.

I know that there is a very small population of Black chileans, but there is definatlely a moderate number of darker skinned or native chileans that you might wish to be more inclusive to.

Also I would not just say free registration ,, I would say ,, Let's find your perfect match.. or offer an article... IE: To recieve your free copy of 10 ways to make a great first impression and find your perfect match register here....

But I love your colours and your site looks freindly.. Also mabey add a love quiz or personality profile to let your potential customers have a little more fun and feel involved in your site. Lastly.. add some web 2.0 socal bookmarks on your page to encourage more bookmarking and exposure.. With your text in the bottom left area mabey play a little with adding a few Italics or bold or underline to make it look more interesting.

It's great you have a video,, I hope you post that to tubemogul.. 50 + video sites and link back to your home page.. LOl. I jsut notices this is the landing page not homepage, sorry, .. anyway mostly the same advice,,

    I wish you great luck..

Hi, it is actually a home/page also so I thank you for your comments. It would be great if your missus would take a look at it to get a feeling of how a Chilean person views it ;-)

Thanks again for the great input.

    registration form

I would use a full width image and move the registration form under the three lines of text that is on the left.

    The Registration Form

Posted on Apr 05, 2010 at 2:26 PM

I hate to repeat what others are saying, but the registration could use some work.

I would shrink it up a little and use a different color for the "registrate gratis"

    :)

the blue/orange don't look good together

Posted on Apr 05, 2010 at 3:18 PM

About the colours, I only don't like the blue background behind the orange button - they are both too strong for me. I know that this button is important, but maybe try with different saturations of these two colours? The main container is very wide, I would think of some element that would make a "vertical rhytm" of this design - maybe a main content in a narrower column? Typography looks good at this moment, just don't use too much bold text - maybe not all titles need to be bold?

This website looks very cool, but from what I see is that you might be missing more colors on the bottom part of your site, and a better quality picture at your header. but everything else looks Very Good! Thumbs Up

    Not working

Posted on Apr 05, 2010 at 7:54 PM

This really isn't working for me. i feel like I have seen other versions of this site that I have liked better. Here is what I think could be better:

    1. The logo header is entirely too busy. Move the sponsor logos somewhere else.
    2. The registration from is too weak. Work on the details of the form by including some gradients and strokes. Also, move the registration form so that it exceeds the top of the page a little.
    3. Add a thick stroke to your thumbnail pics and make them align with the edges of the design.
    4. Your content area isn't very engaging. Make the heading colored and left align them.
    5. Your footer feels pretty forgotten. Work on giving the footer more purpose.

    the form

Posted on Apr 06, 2010 at 2:15 AM

The registration form takes too much place. Like the logo. Maybe u can use the logo colours here and there as well. You can do something about the profile pictures - a frame for each of of them or a one for all of them, with a light 1px border. Try it out.
