I would try how it looked with heavier typeface, in only one color and the road as a simpler icon left of the text. Or under the text, going in horizontal direction like the lines.
This just isnt working for me...
The road graphic is quite 'clip-arty'
drop shadow is not subtle enough and its distance is too great.
multi-coloured text is not great.
I have found the hardest thing to design are logo's so keep trying. But if you have tried lots designs and scrapped them and still not getting it right.. you may want to ask yourself if this is the right path for you?
good luck
Thanks, Joe. I appreciate your feedback. The scrapped logos are more about designing something that works for me personally, rather than the quality of the design.
too much gradient. the image of the road could be separate to the text. also, might try 2 liner only and of different font weight.
i'm not keen on the shadow you have given the typeface and think that to make it stand out you simply need a bolder/thicker typeface (have you tried browsing dafont.com look under sans serif typefaces and you can download them for free) i think with a thicker typeface the word 'road' and 'studios' won't look so spaced out
Thanks Tamara! I've actually made the font thicker already...I should upload the new image. And, yep, that's where I got this font! Well, Font Space, but same thing. :D
Thanks, Miro!
