I like your overall layout and navigation. Nice use of Jquery.

Personally, I would either lighten up on the texture in the green banner or use a photograph for the texture. I really dislike noticeable texture tiling. Check out http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=search&txt=texture&w=1&x=0&y=0.

Also, the "Read more about us" should have a rollover state and I would make the text above it actual text instead of an image. You can use your jquery skills to replace the text with your image or utilize SIFR to maintain your font.

Your gradient I think needs more work. For me, it doesn't look good. Maybe on the green gradient, you can put an omni light effect behind the icons.

1. texture: not sure if that's intentional or something funky with the quality of your image, but it's not really working. seems forced, without purpose.

2. Don't say 'Looking for' three times in a row. It's redundant. Why not instead have a large 'Looking for' at the top and then bullets underneath?

3. Colors- I feel like you have too many going on with color scheme. I see grey, blue, orange, green, yellow, a different orange...... I'm going to assume you're going to be showing a lot of fairly color-heavy content since you're an icon site- I'd strongly suggest simplifying the color palette-

4. Logo looks a little generic.

too much to read. the 3 looking for sentences is too much. maybe shrink the top nav bar a bit too. seems like some extra vertical space there. i like the other items - simplicity, modern. maybe put some more items in there about what is valuable on the site. not sure the search in site needs to be in such a prominent position.

This is not what you asked us to comment, but I got to say that your logo needs work. It does not look as good as your icons do.

I'm not a fan of the grey bar at the top, makes the site very dull, maybe try the lighter colour you have below the green area?

Also on your footer there is some readability issues with your white text and your faded logo. Nice idea though.
