I think the name is a little bit too much like this: http://www.pixelmator.com/. Also the look of the logo is a bit much, simplify it. The subheading is good, I would just switch it around a little: "Pixel Perfect Everytime".

Ha ha... Nate, that's how the name came about... thanks for the revised tagline, yours is way better!

Wait, are you defending the name in that case?

the name is a name I did search it on google, to see if it was owned by anyone and it was not, originally before searching it, I thought if pixels mated then there would be perfect pixels... hence pixelmated came about then I searched and I remembered "pixelmator" is that free programme for Macs... meh, at this stage it's just an idea

Yeah, it's a great direction, but I think you may run into legal issues if you become a large company and start causing confusion. Not to mention, it's going to be hard to climb search results with that name. Just some things to think about.

Now there's a good point... that's ok, I think I might be ok, seeing as it'll be a local NZ company... and if I get global I will be amazed..

But all good points Nate, thanks very much!

Nice one your design meet both theme and look. but try to change tag line "Perfect pixel everytime" font. Also Try to change some linear colors or dual color in "pixelmated" .

    Hello Aaran,

Nice and colorful design! Love the font you chose for the brand.

Not sure about the tiling, I mean, they look more like boxes than pixels. What about using the dot of the "i" to play with your idea? Also I would use 100% cyan, 100% magenta, 100% yellow, 100% yellow + 50% red (for orange) and 100% yellow + 75% cyan (for green).

Don't really care about the tagline font, but you have a very nice one for the name, maybe you should choose a more common one so it doesn't compete with main one.

    Regarding your questions:

Name is great. I like tagline too. I exlained the too last above :)

Anyways, really nice design! Good job, my friend.

let me rephrase paragraph number 5: "Name is great, I like the tagline too. I commented about the last 2 questions above."

      Cheers!!!

What do you think of the name? Good

What do you think of the Tagline? Not bad

What do you think of the colours? Maybe litle bit agressive

What about the font? Try to do it more round

What do you think about the brand icon? Should it stay or go? i think it is too big you should play with it more.
