    One headline is long

I love the colors. Only thing to mention is that on the second layout, the headline starting the body text is quite long - goes all the way from left to right.

    Just awesom.

    Just awesome. Fantastic photography.

The only thing I can add is that there's no space for promotionals which can help drive traffic. And a little more copy in the bottom could help the seo.
But really, that doesn't matter; it's good as is.

    Great start

I like where this is going but a few things aren't working for me. Mainly the header is just too cluttered. Having the form, 3 logo and text in the header is a bit much. I would try to simplify things in the header area. Also, that navigation bar ending short of the image is a little add. Just continue it all the way to the sides. Lastly, put your thumbnails on the left of the text on your inner pages. Right not they look really crammed in there.

I really like the overall design, but only the footer bothers me a little.

Very good overall. Looks like a hotel website which is something we don't necessarily want to reinvent. They follow a similar mold for a reason.

Perhaps NOT using a photo of the facility up front like that because it looks like a very standard hotel. Perhaps the lobby provides a much brighter and better image?

Thx! The client wanted a slideshow so in the online version you can find a photo of the lobby which is more interesting than just the building itself... ;)

Transpose the text box and interior pics

Posted on Mar 24, 2010 at 9:03 PM

This is an accomplished solution to a potentially mundane problem. Lovely colour palette. Well done.

    My quibbles are minor.

The 3 smaller fields on the right of the header bar look a little inconsistent in size and alignment, which gives a slightly cluttered effect.

PROMOTIONS and PHOTOS in the secondary nav bar would look better at the same size as the other three.

The inside page grid might work better with the pics on the left and the text on the right. You'd then get rid of the annoying long lines of the subheadings.

    Hope this helps.
