    very good

Especially - nice use of orange color.

The pen looks a bit strange to be there, as I am right handed and used to keeping my pen on the other side. But hey - that´s nothing, just wanted to say that. It is now pointing "forward" so it is good.

    Really good

I really like this site, very classy and well done. I'm not a huge fan of the logo but you may have not been able to change that. Lastly, remove the vertical lines connecting the footer and content area. They are really distracting and I don't think they add anything. Great work here though, I really like it.

    orange strips

Good work here. The texture, colors and grid work well together. Do you have a hover and active state for the nav? Also, what's the significance of the 5 links at the very top? I think there is enough orange in the navigation and links for you to remove the orange strips on either side of the page.

    Orange lines

Posted on Mar 23, 2010 at 11:18 AM

As Nate says the orange bit linking the content to footer distracts from the content.

Other than that you have a top class design. I love the use of Orange for contrast.

    Separators

Posted on Mar 23, 2010 at 11:56 AM

I REALLY like it. Clean and modern, just what I like. Just two things.. I would get rid of these orange things you have in the sides, and make the separator line more bold.

    Good design.

The texture is very good on the background. Too many people (like me) use flat colors, and this gives it that industrial look.

The orange bars...great idea. So nice and simple accents.

    Nothing

This concept has been very well planned and developed.

I can only assume that the tag-line in the header image says something about what the company does.

Your client should only be proud of your work.

    Arrows & Bullets

Posted on Mar 23, 2010 at 11:16 PM

Absolutely love it. Love the shades of blue, the textures, and the orange accents. Really enjoy the way everything has been laid out.

Some things I'm not a big fan of: The bullets in front of the top menu look a tad strange - mostly the positioning. Also, the double arrow on the slider/overlay thing isn't my fav - that could just be personal preference. Either way, it looks great.
