I agree on the curlys. In practical technical terms the swirls might not be easiest to reproduce. eg. embroider, 1 color printing, etc. I love the clean font choice so how about playing more with it? Maybe try a version where you "fuse" the letters with each other more. I like the swirls' color choice on the first one. I'd use the same colors for variations of the logo such as "pfusion winter collection" in blue, etc.
i was able to read your original design easily. although i do look at typography all day. i would say if most (non designer) people can read it easily, then go with it! i like the more colorful option at the top. I would recommend not repeating the same mark though in different colors, give each color and letter fill its own unique shape. i think this is beautiful and completely appropriate for your audience. although i think your audience might be a little too wide. women over 25 don't dress the same as 17 year olds in most cases.. im not sure about that sharp point in the s but everything else about this is absolutely lovely. maybe soften the s curve? ---all of these comments so far are for your first design, which i like better. i don't think you need a bevel.. and the little notch on the p made it more legible for me, and the dot of the i also helped in readability. i would leave them like they were. removing the notch on the p does make it match the other letters better though... but i really think the original is better. i like the 4 colors. it makes me think about how clothing stores always have a wide palette of colors to choose from. when you take away the other colors and only partially fill one letter, it looks more like you're filling a cup. like maybe its a café or something. please stick to your first one~ i really like it... would only alter the s curve.. and make unique color swirls. great job with this, im voting it up :)
nice s curve :) i liked it better when you filled the letters with color more. this is coming out really nicely..
I get where you are going with the swirls but with 4 swirls it overtakes the whole logo!
maybe try two swirls "fusing" together in the u and removing the other 3 swirls.
excellent! yeah the reworking of the 'p' is nice as well.
but now without the dot on the 'i' the s+i look like a cursive 'r' :) I know - you can't win!
Modern and stylish female clothing is a very broad concept. So if this logo is just perfect for the cloths is hard to say with the given info, think i would have to look at the actual cloth collection before saying anything about that.
But as a logotype I do like it. I like it very much. The color and the playfulness in the swirls make it unique.
If to complain about anything, I would make the p wounder, without the top line which would make it an even better fit.
Also, to add is that I can see a wider use of the swirls later on in for example website and such.
Thank you Jamie! Check last update, I think you were right regarding the P roundness.
Like others have said, the coloured swirls bother me. Have you tried scaling it down and seeing how it would look small on a business card for example? Or a clothing label?
You could always move the colours onto the letters themselves, vector them somehow, or have less of them.
I do like the typeface though, and enjoy how the letters join together. Keep going, I think you're getting there.
Thank, seems like the swirls weren't a good idea. What about now?
This unfortunately isn't really working for me. I like the colors that you chose, but the swirls are too much. Just focus on keeping this simple and readable.
Getting better. I'm still not too fond of the swirlies being inside of the font. Have you tried putting the swirles off to the side or above?
I want to keep it compact, whenever I can, I try to keep visual an texts together. What do you think about this very last version? I followed your feedback to make it more readable.
Sorry, but to me the swirls are really distracting and make hurt the readability.
I'm guessing the coloured images inside the letters are not vectors. These don't scale well (what if they decide they want a 5 meter banner?). Even if they are vectors, not good for cutter-plotter (collate their cars with stickers). Go KISS.
Thanks!
The swirls are vector lines with sime art brush applied, and for a cutter-plotter you can always use a plain colour frame/border. e.g black car, black surrounding.
Anyways, I appreciate your feedback!
I like a lot of logo, creative, clean, modern and original. Congratulations, did a good job.
The colors twirls are too complex, and the 'fu' doesn't mix too well, IMHO.
I'd start over, as the idea of simple, linked letter is great, but you could do much better. If I were you, I'd start with the simplest form: what if you can only embroider it on a small, low-quality tag and in 1 color?
PS: keep the '.' on the 'i', as it makes reading much easier.
Thanks for your feedback, but there is't much time to start over. What do you think about the very last update?
It's better with less swirls, but I'm not fan of them. Did you try to work at a much smaller size and see what stands out? If you had to scribble it on a stamp, what would you keep?
Hey, great idea. Its very interesting concept. its easy for remembering, bright attractive and so on.
The only thing that i should tell you is that paint looks little bit hard for logo as i think.
Try to make every paint swirl simplier by keeping it to one color maybe with gradient.
I don`t know am i right or not about paint but i like it also in this version - font, idea design... seems completed and trandy
Thanks again Kirill! So far you liked my stuff, I'll try to not dissapoint you on next one too, lol. BTW, new version submitted.
Women clothing has to be colorful. And the concept is nice.
I think the last update is too shy (swirls are smaller). Women like attitude! The first one is the better, I think.
Thank you! So many crossed feelings about this logo! I'd better quit, lol!
Have tried drawing the whole logo by hand? So you would keep the form of the typeface and the hand made feeling of the swirls?
That's really interesting, but aftewards I'd probably have to vectorize the swirls somehow. Thanks!
I really like #2 the most. I guess it's the minimal use of color in the counters that makes me happy. They are all great, and no mater what you use it's a great logo. Great job!
But I'm not sure about the design over all. It's a tad confusing for me and I had a hard time reading it. Is it P Fusion? pfusion? is the p silent? me = confused
Thanks again for your comment, Maya! This is one of this project 50% people like it and 50% does not. It's driving me crazy! LOL
I like #2 best as well. The swirls were distracting and #3 feels incomplete. The second one feels active with the use of color. As long as the colors compliment the client's tastes, but they could be easily changed if not. I do like the removal of the line on the p.
A beautiful work. A good idea!!!!
Not a bad idea but the execution is not working right now. I would suggest maybe trying to combine the concept of threading(stitching) and fusion. This might give you something much cleaner.
Hi! I appreciate your feedback, thanks. New version, less swirls.
