I am loving this design over the previous ones I had seen. I think the representation of the meter factor is now clear.
I am particularly feeling the third design cos I don't think the meter graphic should be separated from the name.
The only thing I would change is the "marko" color and use the light green gradient as on the mark above it. I think that would complete the meter look.
now its great green-red variance is perfect, i think! 3 colors, i can remember it and draw. very good illustration of ...meter part viewing this i`m understanding what about is it
Great design. The last one on the list (green and red) looks very polished and clean.
The way the pointer is part of the "m" works much better than the first version where the pointer over the "m". The slight slant really works for the logo, it makes dynamic as if it was moving. On my eyes I see it representing "tracking" as a non-stop action.
The very last one is my favorite. No fixes are needed at all. Good work
you did a really nice job with this. the third one and last ones are spot on. i think i prefer the orange / red colors.
I cant put my finger on exactly why i like the first one best. Perhaps it's because it has 3 colors. The 2 green + red makes a great palette.
Also i would probably lose the glass effect. A great logo doesn't need any extra effects. Sure add it later on website, but the logo itself shouldn't be dependent on it.
Also, from a psychological perspective why not boost the meter a little, so i get a positive forward feeling? Just a little, so its not in the middle. I think it would also add to the dynamic. It is usually whats is off that makes it interesting.
This looks great, my favorite is the first concept because it doesn't mess with the readability. I would make the meter completely red like the one towards the bottom. Great work, fantastic twist for the meter imagery.
Don't change it anymore!
Good job, simple, objective and clear.
I prefered the last one. I just wonder if it could be a difficult to make out the name when the logo is small. It might be worth doing a small version without the meter design or a basic version of the meter design
I definitely like the first 1st the best. I like that the meter has the 3 colors in it. That's the problem I have with the last 3.
However, I think you could mix them together. Use the colors from the first one, but make the meter icon a part of the word.
The needle part of the meter on the 1st 2 look much better than the needle on the last 3. Those 3 make me see a syringe, rather than a needle on a meter.
All in all, I really like the 1st one.
With that statement in mind I would have to say simplify the logo down to almost a one-color facebook-style logo.
You might not have meant "usability above all else" in the way that I understand it, but if that's the standard, you are going to want to drive down page load time and simply focus in on the web app itself.
as a side, I like the logo its clean and smart :)
That will look very well on business cards. Great job!
I am liking the improvements that you have made since the last version. The meter is much more obvious now.
Plus the green+red meter graphic can make a great favicon.
I like the logo, as a fellow designer, I feel qualified to say, it is a strong design, however it does seem a little plain.. Maybe a stronger colour change between the Marko and the Meter? Or maybe the "dail" being at a slight angle/longer?
I like it. It is simple and it takes my attention. However, I would also try with the frst letter being a capital letter.
Hi Guillermo,
I loved this logo only one thing I would consider is that you you can try it on different background and see how it will look when publishing it into different media.
great start I like the colors and the meter
I think it might be interesting to make that needle in the center of the "m" move like a speedometer needle, sort of back and forth
Not too keen on the green and red. Perhaps a Blue and red or blue and green would engage me more. This is a bit x-mas... other than that?... awesome. I get it.
ok thanks! uploaded new version
