Grungy WP Theme!

Really well done and refined grunge f*%#@ up site.

The textures are just clean cut and refined metal. I touched my screen and felt the rust on the metal on the tips of my fingers.

The old broken glass in one of the boxes is amazing, beautiful color scheme, nice text placement.

The only thing is the logo, it gets a little lost at the top, but since you are still working on it...you might consider this suggestion.

I love it! It's like you can almost feel the metal-surface.. Well maybe the name in the logo is a bit hard to read.. but that's my only critics.

Nice start Noel. It's definitely got a grunge look and I like the structure of the header. You left the content area alone, which is good, but I think 1 or 2 point sizes larger could suit well for the legibility of the text.

I think this needs another color to make this a little more lively and engaging. Perhaps the tint in the main layout could be changed slightly, which would make it pop-out more from the black/gray background. To help this sell, I'd also include a bright, contrasting color to the logo area.

This site reads "gaming", and more specifically a FPS, without question. The only thing I can see that might help is to increase readability for the "tweets", "retweets", and right sidebar text. I agree with Marcio and Uwe that the logo is a tad dark - perhaps changing the text colour to a lighter grey or silver mght help.

I really like the design and you probably have hit the nail on the head with your concept/design.

Great design but as others have already indicated, the text in the logo is unreadable (actually I only knew there was text in the logo when I read other reviews). Same applies to the search box and also the post date (below the post title). Probably you can use the same color used for the links for the text in the logo and the search box.

I really like where this is headed, but it feels entirely too dark. Maybe add some rust color in there to lighten things up a bit? You need something that differentiates the page from the background more. Also, you can barely see the logo. Good work though, this should be a good one!

wow...this is just stunning. Super cool "life-like" elements. Did you make those yourself? I still in amazement...

Ok...here's some tips 1. Logo is hardly visible at all 2. sidebar text is also hard to read 3. Footer is rather empty 4. What about adding some bullet holes in the metal? :D

I like amount of detail in the interface with the grungy textures and such, but it totally falls flat in the typography department. I would like to see you spend some more time on the typography and really hit a home run.

I get the idea of the darkness thing - but maybe lightening up some key areas would make the whole thing easier to navigate within

Really nice, I think it would be great for a gamer's blog or something similar. My only comment would be to add a bit of contrast between the page and the background texture. It blends in together just a bit too much. Otherwise great job.

You always seem to create quite an atmosphere with your web designs. Honestly, this is great! You have a variety of textures making the design more realistic but another concern I have is load time. Do you think all these different textures might affect the load time?

I really like your design! I think that if you could up the contrast a little and somehow add in a bit of a "swiggle" somewhere near the last third right hand side of the page it would improve it. On the metal bit, not sure what, rivit swirl design?
